"They [the RNC] are calling voters, cold calls, and saying to them, what about William Ayers and the close working relationship he had [with Obama], which is not true by anybody's count . . . It certainly is a mischaracterization of the relationship." -- Andrea Mitchell to Sen. Kit Bond (R-Mo.), MSNBC 10-17-08.
Andrea Mitchell, meet Stanley Kurtz . . .
It's turning into Andrea Mitchell Day here. Earlier, I noted how Mitchell, measuring the drapes for Obama, predicted that he would run a "bipartisan" administration. Now Mitchell has ridden to Obama's defense, denying that he ever worked closely with Wiliam Ayers.

Why is Rev Wright off the table? They want to deny that Obama had a close relationship with Ayers? Okay, give that a rest, at least for a minute. Let’s talk about Wright. Care to deny that 20-year relationship??

Now is the time for panic on the Left. The Ayers connection is starting to stick at EXACTLY the right time.

It certainly is a mischaracterization of the relationship." -- Andrea Mitchell to Sen. Kit Bond (R-Mo.), MSNBC 10-17-08. Fascinating. So Mitchell did her own investigative work and is able to say, with authority and certainty mind you, that she knows the level of relationship Ayres has to 0bama. At least one of them was curious, whew, that's a relief. [/sarc]

Beyond Ayers ghost writing Bambi’s second book, nah nothing there.

Your eyes are getting heavy. You are now asleep.
When you wake up you will remember that robocalls are only made by Republicans. You will awaken refreshed and hating Repbulicans.
SNAP!
The FReepathon Challenge has been extended to 10/20/08 12:01am. (I wasn't able to focus and push the effort like I wanted to by the 15th. Let's go for it.)
Hey, we're almost done with this quarter's FReepathon. The goal will be reached within a few days.
We have extended the FReepathon Challenge. It's a way for you to donate and get some of your funds matched. Those who have volunteered to become a Charter Member of the FReepathon Challenge, will pay a certain amount if certain levels are reached. Read about it at the link.
If you would like your donation to be augmented for the benefit of retiring the FReepathon more quickly, join in the FReepathon Challenge by clicking on the right part of the above graphic.
We'd love to have you join as a charter member too, if you'd like.
If you wouldn't care to be a part of the FReepathon Challenge, but you'd just like to chip in to help retire the FReepathon more quickly, please click on the left part of the above graphic.
Happy trails FReepers...

Atthe very least, Stanley Kurtz’s research definitively shows they worked together on drafting the bylaws for the Chicago Annenberg Challenge. And it is likely they worked closely on CAC board business as well, even if there is only evidence of several official board meetings.
