Bruce Springsteen used his latest fundraising bash for Democrat Barack Obama to poke fun at one of the presidential candidate's Republican rivals, Sarah Palin.
Springsteen dueted with fellow rocker Billy Joel for the first time ever at the bash, at New York's Hammerstein Ballroom on Thursday. And the Born to Run hit-maker jokingly compared the pair's inexperience to criticism of Alaska Governor and vice presidential candidate Palin.
He told the crowd, "Billy and I have rehearsed a little, but you have to consider this more like the vice presidential debate: you have to Palin-ise your expectations. We seem like we know a lot, but we don't really."
Springsteen and Joel were joined at the fundraiser by india.arie and John Legend.
Hey Bruce, let’s see your SAT score. Palin’s (1340) put her in the top ten to fifteen percent of kids who took the test. I’d guess you must have fallen into the bottom ten to fifteen percent.
Picasso had a different scam to get things free. He’d write a lot of small checks that people would keep for the Picasso autographs rather than cashing them.

Yeah, we all grew up, unlike these two assholes and got real jobs and learned to deal with everyday life.
I haven’t even heard a new song by either of these loads in years and don’t want to.
Perhaps they should have Biden-ized their routine and just used someone else’s material and taken credit for it.

I just literally dug out that Born In The USA piece of shit cd that I played once and threw in a box that has been in my garage for years. I noticed I got it from the Columbia House CD club, so I feel good that I didn’t spend any money on it. I just snapped it in half, cut up the booklet and trashed it, where it should have been thrown years ago.
God, he seems to love the Socialism that made him rich...no, that’s not it...

I’m the same age as Bruce, and I took one. I believe he graduated from high school, so he took one. But I don’t think he wants it publicized.
His SAT score was probably lower than his IQ.
I never understood the attraction for this guy. He always presented himself as the “Working Mans” rock and roller but he always reminded me of a good 6th member for the “Village People”...........

Why does anyone listen to these washed-up old musicians anymore (or anyone from Hollyweird/entertainment for that matter)? His peak passed decades ago. He should be happy someone/anyone is coming to his “oldies” concerts!
