Campaign to ‘plunge the crap out of Washington’
CNN ^ | October 17, 2008

(CNN) – He went from being an average plumber in small town Ohio to a talking point in a presidential debate. Now, a new group is asking “Joe the Plumber” to run for Congress.

With the slogan, “plunge the crap out of Washington,” Trevor Lair, chairman of the Massachusetts College Republicans, launched a website on Friday to try to get Joe Wurzelbacher to run for Congress. The Web site calls on visitors to sign a petition to show support for what Lair hopes will Wurzelbacher’s congressional bid.

"Washington, DC is broken and it needs to be fixed. Joe Wurzelbacher has a real-world perspective and the right attitude to clean up the mess on Capitol Hill,” Lair said.

Lair is aiming to get thousands of signatures to put Wurzelbacher on the ballot against Rep. Marcia Kaptur of Ohio, whom he called a “tax and spend liberal.” Lair praised Wurzelbacher for standing up to “big-government socialism” and said he would be the right candidate to fight for working class Americans.

Great idea. Then he can learn how to really, really, really, cheat on his taxes. Maybe he can shake things up in Washington.

How about another campaign: Elect 0bama to Dog Catcher.

Unlike many others that would not elect 0' to Dog Catcher, I'd be very happy to have him fill that role. I'd even lobby Pres McCain and VP Palin to create a National Dog Catcher position.

Certainly prefer that to the alternative.

This story is taking a life of its own. God sure does have a good sense of humor. Remember:

“Brothers, think of what you were when you were called. Not many of you were wise by human standards; not many were influential; not many were of noble birth. But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. He chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things—and the things that are not—to nullify the things that are, so that no one may boast before him.” I Corinthians 1:26-29

I like the campaign slogan.

It would be better to get the ball rolling before the election.

If we cannot stop this Communist takeover of our government now, we will have to literally fight to take it back.

And lets try to convey how crappy the Media is also, the problem is not only in Washington.

Liars, Traitors, Commies, All have to GO!

Like With RotoRooter, "Away Goes Trouble Down the Drain!"

Its amazing at the hostility towards Joe at the site this article came from. Libs seem to think that only erudite socialists should run for office. Frankly, Joe is more spontaneously articulate than Mr. "clean and articulate" Senator Government.

I’m the caller who advocated a “MILLION PLUNGER MARCH” on Washington and Congress. It was on the Austin Hill show WMAL630 AM, in DC.

While it probably would not work in so short a time, the image of thousands of working Americans holding up plungers in the air and demanding that “Let’s clean the crap out of Congress” would be price.

Still, others are attaching plungers to their cars, fences, etc. As one whose family (including myself) were in the whole Plumbing Supply business, I can honestly say that a good plumber is worth a hundred politicians, and here’s why.

A plumber can clean the crap out of your pipes, while politicians put crap into politics.

If Obama is “spreading” anything around, it is not “wealth”. It is crap, and as one who has been in the business, I recognize Marxist crap when I see and smell it, and Obama’s plans smell like crap.

Plungers Up, America!

Support “JOE THE PLUMBER” and all the other hardworking Americans who the Democrats have now spit on.

Florida International Univ. in Miami...packed out house. LOTS of college age kids and 20-somethings with pierced eyes, ears, etc. VERY LOUD for McCain. My ears are still hurting. I was in shock over how many weirdo-looking kids were there, enthusiastic for McCain, booing 0bama loudly whenever his name came up.

I was standing about 30 feet directly in front of the podium, with the “Obama? NOPE! Say NO to Senator Government” sign. It got lots of laughs.
