THE PLUMBER'S CRIME (Obama wants to raise taxes so he can "spread the wealth around)
New York Post ^ | October 17, 2008 | Opinion

Posted on 10/18/2008 3:11:41 AM PDT by Fred

Just a few days ago, poor Joe Wurzelbacher was an anonymous, middle-class workingman who aspired to buy the plumbing company for which he's worked for the past six years.

But then he drew from Barack Obama the startling admission that the Democratic presidential candidate wants to raise taxes so he can "spread the wealth around."

And when John McCain reminded the nation of Obama's confession time after time during Wednesday night's debate, Democrats simply could not let Joe the Plumber go unpunished.

Yesterday, Wurzelbacher not only found himself under vicious personal attack from the far-left crazies in the blogosphere, he also had to endure uninformed insults from Obama's running-mate, Sen. Joe Biden - who essentially portrayed Joe the Plumber as a greed-crazed plutocrat.

"I don't have any Joe the Plumbers in my neighborhood who make $250,000 a year and are worried," he said.

No doubt - given that homes go for $1 million and more in Biden's tony Delaware nabe.

Anyway, the self-described man of the people has his facts all wrong.

Again.

Joe the Plumber doesn't "make $250,000 a year," as Biden charged.

And he never claimed to.

As he told Obama, what he wants to do is buy a multi-employee company whose annual income is $250,000 to $280,000; Wurzelbacher's take would be considerably less.

In fact, Joe the Plumber made all of $40,000 in 2006.

We know this, because newspapers, TV networks and bloggers have been chasing public records to find out every scrap of info possible in order to discredit poor Joe.

startling admission that the Democratic presidential candidate wants to raise taxes so he can "spread the wealth around

HERE IS MY FACTCHECK :

Barack Obozo went to Joe's house, Joe did not go looking for Obozo.

Joe asked a very simple and direct question, he made no attacks, all he wanted was a discussion on Obozo's tax plan and how it would affect his plans for buying a business

Barack OBOZO stuck his big fat liberal foot in his mouth by regurgitating his socialist liberal agenda.

Team Obozo figured out real quick that Obozo pulled an Oboner by letting his real agenda slip while the Foxnews camera were rolling.

Joe very simply told the sleazy drive bys that he did not agree with Obozo's position on taxes.

Obozo's jack booted hacks kick into high gear and proceed to destroy Joe the Plumber any way possible.

And so now we go full circle.....Obozo will never be able to take back this OBONER.....' startling admission that the Democratic presidential candidate wants to raise taxes so he can "spread the wealth around'

This is why Obama’s handlers don’t like it when he doesn’t have his teleprompter.

Some guy on Fox News just mentioned that it is Joe’s fault because he went on TV for interviews. Says he wants to keep up the celebrity. I think it is on O’Reilly I am not watching just listening while FREEPING.

This entire event is just another example of what we can expect. If you disagree with him then prepare to have your life turned upside down.

The press has vetted Joe the Plumber better than they ever vetted BO.

Obama and Biden reminded us that we are all Joe the Plumber. Every small businessman or woman in the country should be extremely worried, but if they were smart enough to start a small business, they already know better than to vote for Obama. (We’ve already seen what social engineering and greed did to the financial well being of this country.)

This is just more social engineering. I guess he plans to print money in the WH basement. Move over, Zimbabwe! As Obama has already told us (doubtless when he looked away from the teleprompter), he intends big things for blacks. Not just money! But all across the board: access, power, privilege, lobster thermidor with caviar and champagne at the Waldorf...Ooops, that was just Michelle’s room service order the other day. Sorry. But we probably didn’t pay for it, anyway. George Soros or some foreign Jihadist fiend did.

They are scared out of their wits over the power of the truth about Obama that Joe the Plumber caused The One to reveal.

Last night I saw the following lies that were in direct response to the truth phenomena that is Joe the Plumber:

1. That witchy frizzie blonde congresscritter from Florida was on the Bloombery business channel (”Money & Politics”). She was bloviating on and on as usual. But then she talked about the Pelosi special session after Obama wins (donchaknow) and she actually stated: “WE WILL BE FOCUSING ON TAX CUTS FOR SMALL BUSINESS.”

I almost puked.

2. Then almost immediately thereafter I saw an Obama commercial in which he was sobbing on and on about the “little guy” firefighter and construction workers and so on (no plumbers that I saw), and he actually said “I AM GOING TO FIGHT FOR YOU.”

Everyone knows that is a direct appropriation of McCain’s most famous campaign line. More puking.

As I said, not only are these huge whoppers about Obama’s actual policies, they are transparently clear attempts to blunt the damage being done by Obama’s ANSWER to Joe the Plumber, to wit: “Hey, everybody, I’m a Marxist.”

They are attacking Joe because they want to obsfucate Obama’s answer. He is a Marxist and he said so plainly.

Joe’s interviews have been excellent and he has every right to take the opportunity when presented by the media.

The focus must be on Obama’s answer!

THey’re gonna hate me when I publish my opinion piece in a college newspaper later this month. X_x

Expect the Obama campaign to come sweeping into Oregon to give me a thugocrat-style proctological exam for speaking my mind about what freedom of speech will be like under Odumbnutz’s regime.

Here’s the thing. If you are the owner of a small business organized as a limited liability company or a Subchapter S Corporation, all of the income of the business is attributed to the owner for tax purposes, regardless of what he or she takes out of it in salary or draws.

Example: Plumbing Business with one owner makes $250,000 in taxable revenue after paying all expenses in 2009. The owner has taken $75,000 out in salary. The remaining $175,000 he leaves in the business to either expand, buy new equipment, hire new employees... His reportable income is not $75,000... its $250,000.

Start up company makes $150,000 in first year, but owners take nothing out. they leave the money in for the next year to grow the business. Reportable income to the owners: $100,000. “But they didn’t take any money out!” you say. Doesn’t matter... S corps and LLCs are pass thru entities. They poor guy who didn’t take any money out has to pay taxes on all of it anyway!

If Joe the Plumber isn’t a fellow freeper, then he’s everything I imagined one to be.

He’s comfortable in his own skin; he’s got a better grasp of America than the Presidential candidates, and exudes confidence in well grounded ideals unfazed by the storm of attention swirling about him.

In 3 days we know more about Joe the Plumber than Hussein Obama, funny how that works with the MSM.

“They poor guy who didn’t take any money out has to pay taxes on all of it anyway!”

Which makes end of the year planning a real joy. You need the money to make payroll, but have to pay taxes on it if you leave it in the account.

Which is why I always have a Dec 31 payroll, bonuses, and office supplies buying spree.

This is a really hard-hitting opinion piece and I'm glad to see it. Ultimately, I think that Obama's going to find out that putting down plumbers is never a good idea, in this political life or the next.

The media conveniently looked the other way barak osama(obama)
went to south africa on taxpayers dollars and campaigned for Ralia Odinka and his Muslim cohorts.
Odinka lost his election anyway but managed to set fire to South Africa with his anti-western hatred(He referred to Americans as “Kaffirs”)whilst the media still looked in the other direction.

It just goes to show you that no matter how high up the ladder Obozo gets, he’s still just a petty little man with a brainwashed mind, doing the bidding of his betters.

“This is why Obama’s handlers don’t like it when he doesn’t have his teleprompter.”

Off the cuff the guy is a ditz, and yet fully one half of the American electorate are enamored with him, and want very much to have him and his Marxism in the White House. God help us.
