Democrats Draw Crowd of 100,000

In Garment District, Mondale Dresses Down 'Radical Preachers'

NEW YORK, Nov. 1 -- In their last joint appearance before Election Day, Walter F. Mondale and Geraldine A. Ferraro drew an estimated 100,000 supporters to a Garment District rally where the Democratic candidates denounced the "radical preachers" and "extremists who control the Republican Party."

GREAT CATCH!!!

The MSM was reporting The Marxist's St Louis as a RECORD. NOT! Let's see... 100,000 in 1984 would be about 150,000 today.

That was kind of a clue for me...

and the fact that Mondale/Ferraro aren't running.

FREEPERS! Go to the thread below and read what some Missouri Freepers have to say about the pictures of Obama’s crowd. They think the photos have been photoshopped!

Stay home election day - volunteer at the polls, GOTV, or plan for a massive riot/protest if O and Acorn steal.

So they trucked in a bunch of fellow travelers from Illinois. Big, fat, hairy deal. For free beer and cigarettes, most of the great unwashed will follow you anywhere. I would not be surprised if most of the crowd was paid.

East St. Louis, IL, is a yucky, run down place where you would not want to have your car break down. It seem like a place where a lot of people who expect the government to do things for them might live, at least judging by how they take care of their own property.

Fox has slipped. They desperately need a little competition to keep em on the straight and narrow. More Cavuto, less Greta and missing blondes...

I’m sorry I was so snarky. You didn’t do anything. I was lashing out at the media mostly. I am so sick and tired of the praise heaped on The Ones holy head I could scream. I came in looking for any good news I could find and came across three threads about Obamas big crowd. I guess I just lashed out. Half the time I just click reply without looking at the name. I need a time out I think.

That’s okay, but look past the headline. This is a story about a crowd of 100,000 coming out to see Walter Mondale in 1984.

Oops. Now I am really red faced. Especially since I get so irritated with people who don’t read the articles. I am suffering from political overload. I need a good stiff drink and a long bubblebath. And I don’t even drink. I got a feeling there is going to be a bunch of teetotalers having a drink if McCain wins this election.
