AP: Alaska's minorities feel ignored by Palin (here it comes)

ANCHORAGE, Alaska -- As governor of Alaska, Sarah Palin has had an at-times testy relationship with black leaders in her state.

They say they've been ignored in their eforts to get more minorities hired in her administration.

Now, as the presidential election nears, Alaska's black leaders say they're not surprised to see the Republican vice-presidential nominee at the center of the controversy over injecting the race issue into the campaign. Palin has repeatedly insisted that Barack Obama's former preacher, the inflammatory Rev. Jeremiah Wright, is a legitimate issue even though John McCain himself has said it's out of bounds.

Many of Palin's black constituents say they're disgusted with the campaign's racial overtones.

I wish government would ignore me but they keep taking money from me to give to banks, illegals, people that don’t want to pay their mortgage, sport stadiums, people that chose to live on barrier islands and had their houses destroyed by the weather, schools that teach communisim and immorality... I’m Joe.

In San Francisco, liberal callers to talk-show stations were claiming that Sarah’s use of the terms, “Joe Six Pack” and, “Hockey Moms” was racist.

What, black guys don't drink beer? I was thinking about Savage's "liberalism is a mental disorder" statement this morning. I always thought is was just a phrase he uses on his show, now I'm beginning to believe it. Liberals are making a big deal out of the fact that "Joe" isn't really "Joe the Plumber's" name although Joseph is his middle name. Liberals are calling Sarah "disgraceful" but can not point to something concrete that is disgraceful about her. Bill Clinton soiling the Oval Office is immaterial to them. They suffer from Bush Derangement Syndrome and literally begin to foam at the mouth at the mere mention of his name. They view BO as a demi-god if not an outright god. They seem to truly not understand the signifigance of BO's relationship with W. Ayers using the logic that BO would never bomb anything. Liberals almost seem to delight in the destruction of the unborn. They still claim McCarthyism after proof that McCarthy was correct regarding the influence of communists on government. They claim conservatives are racists yet it is we who are the ones that want everyone to succeed and be self reliant. Savage is right, liberalism is a mental disorder and theymakemesick
