Actaully the fact that it’s an older poll is a good thing, because it was taken at the time McCain was doing pretty bad in the national polls. Now things are tightening up on the national polls. McCain should be ahead in CO by election day.
I agree Obama is looking meaner and meaner. His campaign stump speech is incredibly negative, mean and defensive. This election really isn’t about John McCain....it’s about Barack Obama. He has to sell himself. He doesn’t do this by defending himself or attacking McCain...he does it by keeping to the message of what “change” means and what it will look like. He isn’t doing that.
McCain has to make Obama an unacceptable choice...change you can keep. McCain is winning in that regard.
Obama campaigning in West Virginia is a stupid rope a dope move. Bush tried this by considering (planting the thought of) campaigning in California. It merely was trying to get Kerry to spend time and money there instead of places like Ohio. I think this is exactly what Obama is trying to do to McCain.
McCain needs to stick to Ohio, Virginia, Florida, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Missouri and Indiana....if he wins those states he wins the election.....
and by the way...Murtha is right to a certain degree about PA...not that they are “racist” but they don’t trust the radical liberalism that Obama represents...and the abortionist will find it hard to win over Catholics in PA and OH.
That is the interesting part. McCain should be up in the polls everywhere, both national AND state polls.
Our brave men and women can fight for us in another country. We must fight for our freedom here at home. First we need to take on the media. I will bet that most of them have some secrets in their past that they wish would not be made public.
Are you retarded or something? This is from October 5th.
Every poll since then has an Obama lead.
We keep up this Pollyanaish BS and we’re going to lose. Obama is not collapsing and we have to keep the heat on.
it is not a problem to steal FL
absentee ballots have been requested in sky high record numbers.
also if you have requested automatic absentee ballote sending, you will recieve your absentee ballot every year LOOOOONG after you are dead.
not to mention all the “convenient” homeless shelters which have been set up in high democrat density areas. Another great place to send all those thousands of absentee ballots.
Not to mention all the snowbirds who are registered to vote in TWO or more states. Remember there were at least 35,000 new yorkers also registered (and voting( in both states per post 2004 election research.
I understand your concern. Perhaps you can take solace in the fact that most of the new voters are ACORN registrants. They simply registered and voted for the money and the cigarettes they were promised. I doubt they will get too riled up.
fouling nest syndrome
I have a similar experience. My father-in-law, and his mother are Florida native, yellow-dog democrats. Neither one has ever voted GOP for anything from POTUS GOP standard bearer to dog-catcher, yet both are supporting Senator John McCain. They don’t like conservatives, but they despise Obama calling him a black-separatist racist and a muslim.
One of them sent twenty-five dollars to McCain. I’m still in a state of disbelief given their committment to the d-rat party.
You are exactly right. There is a huge group who doesn't understand how these things tighten up in the last two weeks.
They are ripe for exploitation.
In Nevada supposedly Obama is up in the polls. Democrats have overcome a registration discrepancy of several thousand to overtake the lead from Republicans.
Clark county will definitely go blue as they have for several elections. The key will be the north and rural areas which have traditionally gone red.
The Democrats say that Obama is leading there as well, but I find that hard to believe. The people in these areas are very conservative libertarians and I find it incredible that they would vote for socialist Obama.
It is my prayer that the Dems are overconfident and that some of the states they expect to change from red to blue won’t in fact be changed.
I note on the electoral predictions, CO is considered securely an Obama win.
