Former President Bill Clinton says the next president's job will be to get the U.S. "out of the ditch."
Clinton told a rally of Barack Obama supporters in Las Vegas Sunday that the Democratic presidential hopeful was the best candidate to free up the credit markets, revive the economy and restore the country's image abroad.
Clinton says when he saw how Obama handled the economic crisis, "I said to myself, this guy can be president."

Everything about this story deserves a barf alert.
Barack and the Democrats are still busy digging. I don't think that's the way to get out of the ditch but that's the only plan Barack has put forward.
maybe some day the republican party will see the need to defend itself.
i have few problems with president bush.
but i’m awfully tired of a political party that will not defend itself.
it makes the chore of running for president for the next republican more difficult. in this case, for mccain-palin.
they are fighting part of a battle that bush should have fought for them.
Clinton only wants to campaign for Obama in places where in can get some action. Here’s guessing Bill made at least one trip to the Bunny Ranch.

Bill was in Vegas when a reporter stopped and asked him if he their to campaign for BO, Bills response, “ Yeh, that’s right I’m hear for ol Obama. That’s our story and we’re sticken’ to it”
