The leader of the national anti-Obama movement, legendary Chicago Internet columnist and Obama author Andy Martin, will hold a Honolulu news conference today, October 20, 2008 to announce he has asked the Hawai’i Supreme Court to entertain an emergency writ expediting the release of Senator Barack Obama’s secret birth records.
A copy of the Petition will be posted on Martin’s blogs later today after it is docketed by the Supreme Court. The Hawai’i Supreme Court petition supplements and expands on a lawsuit filed Friday, October 18th in the Circuit Court of Hawai’i.
Martin is due back in New York on Friday, October 24th for network television interviews.

I don’t think the young girls really know that great-grandmother, but Michelle should definitely be making the trip to Hawaii. From what I gather, she is not going? All of this is very very strange if you ask me.

At the time he was born, he could travel on his mother’s passport. They could then have got one for him in Hawaii.

What standing does Andy Martin have? I’m not certain I understand how he can bring this suit...but, I have neither read the petition nor done the research. I’m looking for free answer.

We did the exact same thing, the hospital would just have kept trying to keep him going. That would have to cruel.
I am not sure why people on this site take people like this Andy Martin and Phillip Berg seriously. Berg, for example, tried to sue Bush and Cheney for blowing up the WTC on 9/11. This Andy Martin guy is apparently a pretty nutty one as well.
As far as I can tell, Obama has a legit birth certificate and I have even seen clips on the internet announcing his birth from an issue of the Honolulu Register circa 1961.
As far as I can tell, with his mother being a natural born citizen and his dad being a legal emigre, that no one can seriously claim that he was not an american citizen at birth. But the fact remains, no one has showed any real evidence that he was not born inside the territory of the United States.
So where is the press conference that was supposed to happen yesterday, and where is the information that was supposed to come out today?

He can sign affidavits forever until someone calls him on them...maybe that is what is now happening. Once the court decides who has a standing before the courts...the investigation will begin in earnest. There are many twists and turns to the proof that you have not mentioned. We will see!!
Were there not some stories about hospital records being looked into at that time? Stories that identified 2 different hospitals as birthplace?
Age of his Mother,Validity of the marriage,Adoption, and Indonesian citizenship are bigger issues...maybe?

still, I think this is a waste of time. This Phillip Berg guy is a certified crank. He tried to sue George Bush for causing 9/11. He is a few eggs short of a dozen and an attention freak.
