I got a call that my dad was dying , I was in America and he was in England

I took the next flight and I don’t have a private jet either

sadly I was too late

Doctor released my dad for the express purpose of going home to die a dignified death in the familiar surroundings of home. He died within 24 hours of being released.

Hello,

I was too late as well. I got the call that my Dad was near death when I got home from work one August evening in 1989. Got to the airport, then to Little Rock, then got stuck in New Mexico until morning. Arrived in Arizona many hours after he was gone.

Hurts.

(BTW, here in the here and now, why has the Media not informed us that “The O’s” grandma was in the hospital? Who knew? Strange indeed...)
