Palin Rally Breaks Record
Local News Posted on October 20, 2008 by Peter Schaller
With just 15 days to go until Election Day, there was a record breaking crowd at Suplizio. According to Mesa County Republicans the rally drew 22,000 people making it the biggest in Grand Junction's history. The speech was only about 15 minutes, but it touched on a variety of issues from energy independence to the economy.
The crowds have cleared out and now the army of 400 volunteers are tearing down. Mesa County is overwhelming red with registered Republicans outnumbering Democrats 2 to 1. The last event like this at Suplizio Field happened back in 1974 when President Ford came, but today it was all about Sarah. Her visit lasted less than 2 hours, but the scramble for our state's 9 electoral votes is far from over.In politics a lot can happen in 15 days.
Maybe a safe place to move to if the National Socialists take over.
Aw, c’mon folks, CNN says to give CO to Obambi.....
Record crowd? Naw, if CNN doesn’t report on it then it didn’t exist.
The Obamacorns and their “conservative intellectual” comrades may hate her but Americans love her! Kiss it Colin!
Rather kind of the MSM to point all attention to Colorado, only to find out that Governor Palin has once again been part of a record audience, whether a CO rally, the VP debate, or a SNL appearance.
Can you imagine how much fun it is going to be to watch CNN or NBC on election night, trying to comprehend why McCain-Palin are winning when those same anchors said it wouldn’t be so!! Hubby and I may be fighting over control of the remote control to zip from station to station just to see the deer-in-the-headlights looks on the news anchor’s faces!! Pure Glee!!!
bttt
I’ll say it again as I did earlier on another thread: The last 5 days of the campaign must find Sarah Palin camping out in Ohio and Pennsylvania. If we carry those two, we win.
I believe that if she leaves VA, MO and FL to Mac and works OH and PA like a yeoman, she can put those two states in the GOP column on Election Night.
Comments? Anyone?
I suspect driveby media propaganda but it sounds like we are in a fight everywhere...
Oh dear Lord.....send your grace and Sarah to the heart of Your people........
