The Grand Junction Police Department is looking for the protestors who ran in front of Sarah Palin's motorcade Monday evening, endangering themselves and officers.
Police consider the actions the protestors took as criminal, as they had previously been told by officers how to lawfully protest, ordering them to stay on the sidewalk. The act also posed a security threat to the Governor and her motorcade, as officers say they had no idea what the protestors' intentions were, or if they planned to harm anyone.
Arrests were not initially made because the officer involved had to immediately return to their positoins in teh motorcade. Police have collected several pieces of video and evidence in this incident, but are asking for the public to submit any pictures or video they have to assist police with their investigation.

Protestors attempt to prevent Republican Vice President Sarah Palin’s motorcade from getting to Suplizio Field by making a human barricade on 12th Street. A group of protestors across the street from Suplizio Field waited until the motorcade crossed their path, and stood in front, blocking Governor Palin’s path.

I’ve been to Grand Junction... wonderful people.
Nothing will happen to them beyond probation and perhaps a small fine. It’s not worth the time it takes to track them down.
They HAD them and let them go!! Idiot police don’t want to get them.
Video cameras mounted in police vehicles captured part of what happened and police are asking the public to help out with any pictures or video they might have.
I care. It is a fault of mine. I want to know who they are, and who sent them, and if they were paid by the Obama campaign.
Maybe it was a dry run, to see the reaction.
Get the Colorado football team out there to tackle these idiots.
Looks to me like the police took out the garbage....
I lived in Colorado for over six years, and I know that who Sarah Palin is, more represents Coloradoans, than who Obama is.
