News Network Gets 15-Minute Interview with GOP VP Candidate

CNN investigative correspondent Drew Griffin will sit down for a wide-ranging interview with Republican vice-presidential nominee Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin in Reno, Nev., today, officials said Tuesday.
The 15-minute, one-on-one interview—CNN’s first with Palin—will air in all three hours of The Situation Room and will cover a variety of topics. Earlier this year, Griffin reported the documentary CNN Presents: Sarah Palin Revealed, which included interviews with Palin’s father and sister.
A transcript of the interview will be available at www.CNNPressroom.com. The Situation Room airs from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

If she was going to do an interview with CNN, Griffin is easily the best choice. He seems like a stand-up guy.

Since she’s doing it, why doesn’t Palin ask Kyra Phillips what she found while digging in her Alaska dumpster?
I was having lunch nearby work and this came up on the CNN screen (TVs everywhere these days). I couldn’t hear the sound but Sarah’s demeanor looked good to me.
I thought: a darn sight better than frolicking on SNL.
I can’t view cable, hope someone will report.

Griffin is the guy that’s been report on the Bill Ayers stuff. He basically called Obamaturd a liar and said that there is more to the story than Obamaturd was admitting.
FWIW I’m not a CNN ‘watcher’ but I’ve seen some of his reporting while flipping through the channels. Based on what I’ve seen, he seems like a very fair, standup guy.
