What many people don’t know is that Al Walid bin Talal, the Saudi prince worth 20 billion who financed Khalid Al Mansour and Obama’s education, bought a large stake in NewsCorp.

http://www.forbes.com/lists/2008/10/billionaires08_Prince-Alwaleed-Bin-Talal-Alsaud_0RD0.html

Notice that nobody in the media will touch this guy. He is the one funding these Arab Student groups across the US colleges, including endowing 20 million to both Harvard and Georgetown for Islamic studies departments; and also the “Sharia in the USA” conference at Georgetown university [http://www.campus-watch.org/article/id/5689].

Why would any rational Mc Cain supporter admit to a pollster that he was voting for Mc Cain?

Look at how violent the Obama supporters are. Geeze! If the pollster has the phone number, he very well may have the address too.

Bob Franken originally was a "news" broadcaster in Cleveland, OH, and I didn't like him THEN...

Now, he is as bad as Bill Press as far as bias goes.

Franken is a stool for the DNC (yes, a "stool", which is lower than a "tool", if you get my drift)....

The talking heads in all of the Washington and New York news rooms live in a bubble. They only talk to “insiders,” the anointed and each other. They have no perspective other than the “conventional wisdom” of the beltway/Wall Street axis. Plus, they are afraid of not getting invited to all of the “correct” cocktail parties. After all, that’s really where the true heart of our nation lies, or so they believe.

Washington must be emptied and restocked with real live Americans on a regular schedule. There should be a fixed time limit on anyones presence in that pest hole.

In a truly free market, Wall Street will clean out its own dead wood.

I caught about 10 minutes of he Fox round Table and decided to never watch again. I’m sick and damned tired of this crap. aathey reminded me tonight of their abyssmally bad performaqnce in 2004 when they were calling the race over in Kerry’s favor based on exit polls.

It’s past time for a nationwide movement to force these news organizations to at least try to be more balanced in their coverage - with the internet and imaging technology avilable now, it should be relatively easy to form a cadre of interested players - and on the internet it should be possible to assemble significant numbers - who could review the most outrageous instances of biased reporting, perhaps take an online vote on which was the outrage of the week, and then bombard the offending network or outlet with e-mails threatening to boycott all sponsors of the news or other out-of-bounds program - followed by a week of actual boycotts of the products for starters - just an ideal to maybe get people to start thinking, with more concrete followup after this election is over.........

Some of what’s said here is true, but Greta V.S. has been unfailingly fair to the McCain/Palin campaign. She is the shining light in this election morass.

” Brit and the “all stars” (pardon me, while I barf!) completely buried McCain and Palin - yet again - in spite of several polls showing the race tightening.”

Barnes, Krauthammer and sad to say, pretty much Hume, declared the race over tonight.

Fox News did exactly the same thing in 2004. They moved left and spread doom and gloom before the election. Their own polls were among the worst, predicting a Kerry victory up to election day.

It is baffling. However, most of the behind the scenes people at Fox are liberals. There were reports of cheers and applause in the newsroom when the exit polls showed Kerry winning.

I would say some of the higher ups at Fox are very sensitive to the criticism from Democrats. Yet, not long after the election, Fox was back running promos about “liberal bias” in the media.

I can’t even watch Special Report anymore, even thought it’s one of my favorites. They pushed hard for McCain to be the nominee, then started bashing him.

Remember, the MSM wanted McCain to be the nominee, thinking conservatives would abandon him in the general. Perhaps Fox had the same mission.

I can say it appears even the Republicans at Fox News are the same elitist bunch that included Kathleen Parker, George Will, and others.

Greta had a GREAT show tonight. She is really hammering the media for bias against Palin.

I don’t want fairness. I want accuracy.

Great commercials too.

The "whoo hoo hoo" music is tough to get out of my head, though ;-)

You had to say it, didn’t you? NOW I can’t get the music out of my head either!

I can console myself knowing that you too are thinking of it right now!
