How do you make your toddies?
I use half a glass of apple juice, throw in a cinnamon stick and juice of half a lemon, tablespoon honey, then add water up to about an inch from the top and nuke it till steaming. Add a generous shot of good brandy and sip. My grandma put a pat of butter on top. Yum.
Got to 23 last night. Warm spell today, it’s 55 now (t-shirt weather), and will warm up to 32 tonight. About normal for this time of year here.
Yep that’s about it.
I’m going to make one and go to bed. Work tomorrow.

It’s 74 in our house right now and I’m about to turn the heat on!
65 is the max on our thermostat program. The further south ya go, the thinner yer blood gets I guess. I have a friend from Missoula who wears a flannel shirt when the rest of us here are wearing down parkas. Ya, we think he’s nuts too...
If we waited that long, we’d barely use our heat. LOL

24 ga is awful thin for body parts, the thinnest we use is 26.

That was supposed to be OUR rain and all we got was cold!
Didn’t turn the heat on last night, sure didn’t want to get out of bed this morning though.
I didn’t either... don’t think it had anything to do with the temperature though. I’m off Fridays. LOL. Got the kids off to school and went shopping for gas and food. Octane 85 for $2.79! Bought ten pounds of sirloin to vacuum seal and freeze.
Also got some sirloin burger for the grill tonight. Gonna bake some onions and make some grilled tater wedgies. Gotta keep on the kids’ good side :o) Tomorrow, we housekeep!
Haven’t seen it yet, but have heard that gas is knocking on 2 bucks down here. Need to get off the main highways.
That’s making me hungry, guess I better get up and find something. LOL
Bought my first tank of gas for less that $3.00 since last year...

I’ve lost 50 pounds this year. I’m sure you’ll volunteer to help me find them.
The oven taters were surrounded in Cajun Dust with a trickle of extra virgin olive oil. I had my burger without the bun, but with a side of beefsteak tomatoes and sugar peas. Tomorrow, I’ll pay for this indulgence with a couple miles. It’s well worth it. I haven’t had ice cream ... well ... hmmm.
You need to drive up here with a grass fed beef in tow. I’ll help you steak it out, and we’ll grill it. The kids and I are waiting patiently on the deck. Feets, get movin!
