Has anyone seen anything regarding the number of undecideds at this point? The focus in the media has been on Obama and his “insurmountable” lead but scarcely a word about undecideds. Last I saw the number of people who hadn’t made up their minds was near 20%. Does anyone know what it is now?

I think at least 60%, maybe even 70%, of undecideds will go to McCain.

In other words, Joe the plumber has sealed the outcome of this presidential election. Thank-you Joe! :)

“I had to watch CNN for 5 hours yesterday while my dad was in the hospital for surgery. It gave me a headache. Sign posted by the TV “Do not change this channel”. 90% Obama and 10% McCain. Seriously. “

I feel your pain. I’m an expat living in the Philippines and all I get over here is CNN and BBC on my satellite. CNN is obviously horrible, but, believe it or not BBC makes CNN look like it’s to the right of Fox.

Needless to say, I’m not watching alot of news on the tv, it’s way too depressing.

Gosh darnit....sigh

45% of this poll’s respondents are evangelicals or born-again Christians.

In 2004, evangelicals/born-again Christians made up 23% of voters. But that same group makes up 44% of likely voters in AP’s poll released today. That’s almost double the number - it’s totally implausible.

I heard one person on Fox last night say that one poll (didn’t hear which one) that had O & M neck and neck was composed of 40% evangelical voters and that only 30% of the voters who put Pres. Bush in office had been evangelicals.

That's the one thing I find very suspect about this AP poll. It has 44% of likely voters self-identifying as "Evangelical/Born-Again Christian". In 2004, only 23% of voters called themselves "Evangelical/Born-Again Christian". I have a hard time believing that demographic has nearly DOUBLED in just 4 years. I think APs internals are off.

I went to get my hair cut yesterday morning before my husband and I went to vote. My hair stylist said she and her husband have never voted before. (They are in their 40’s). She said they are scared of Obama and can’t sit back and do nothing. They are voting McCain/Palin and I hope there are a lot more people like them out there.

McCain/Palin’08

I sense that the MSM is heavily pushing the “inevitability” meme, most likely in hopes of suppressing conservative (GOP, independent and Dem conservatives, that is) turnout. I think we need a W.O.T.Y. campaign, where people are talking back to the MSM and allies: We’re On To You.

only 30% of the voters who put Pres. Bush in office had been evangelicals.

My take. Evangelicals will come out strong if there are real pertinent issues. In 2000, Evangelicals came out strong for Bush as a repudiation of Clinton's immoral and ethical conduct. In 2004, not so much because there wasn't a pressing moral issue. In 2006, not so much either because they were turned off by Foley.

Yeah, AP is wrong most of the time and they are wrong with this poll. Mac is ahead and will win easily.

I think Obama knows he’s cooked which is why he’s going into hiding for 48 hours to figure out what to do in the final 10 days.

I’ve been saying this from day one, Fauxbama cannot win the election, he doesn’t have the Hillary voters in tow behind him. He’s got huge problems with his base, and the only issue McCain had was firing up his base, now that is done, thanks to Palin and FINALLY showing up for a debate this last time around, Fauxbama cannot and will not win.

The only outstanding issue is voter fraud in OH throwing that state, that’s a real threat to McCain winning. McCain’s going to take PA which would counter OH should it flip, but that means he can’t give up CO, NV, NM and IA He has to hold at least 1 of them if OH is flipped by voter fraud.

Basically OH is all about GOTV!! Republican/McCain voters need to get out in droves across the country, but definately in OH.

One, if the TV is in your dad's room, change the channel; two, if it is in a waiting room, LEAVE THE DAMENED ROOM, why put yourself through listening to propaganda all day long. That is how the Nazi's did it. Always good info about them, bad about the enemy. Even the entire time the Soviets were kicking their butts in Stalingrad and Rommel was getting run out of Libya, the propaganda ministry told everyone everything was fine. You listen to it long enough, YOU BELIEVE IT.

That is so true.
I hope the ultra-purist conservatives who hate McCain will get off their hands and at least vote AGAINST Obama.

I am not too encouraged...

They’re just trying to beat The Fairness Doctrine rush!

Frankly, I was severely cheesed off about that. No warning. Just ‘gone’. Tuned in last Friday to watch his show and there was this shrieking banshee on instead ranting about how San Fransisco is just as “pro-American” as any other part of the country.
Oy Vey!
I turned the tube off immediately, lest I hurled.
He’ll be on FoxNews in Jan. Guess it’s time to change my Dish level. Right now I do not get Fox News.
