So Islam is taught in a history class, therefore a teacher should be able to talk about their religious beliefs.

I really don’t think you would like that.

An example.

Would you like a Calvinist trying to convert your child?
What about a Catholic? Jehovahs’ Witness? Southern Baptist? Methodist? Mormon? Presbyterian? Lutheran? Jewish? Eastern Orthodox? Greek Orthodox? Pentecostal? A.M.E.? Black Muslim? Maronite? Unitarian? How about the Moonies, do you want them ‘educating’ your children.

I’m sure one (if not most) of these religions are objectionable in some way to your religious principles...

So what brand of Christianity would be acceptable to you?

More typical liberal hyperbole.... The inability to distinguish between Christianity as a religion and Christian denominations.

We're not talking about different denominations having religious instruction classes in schools promoting their particular denomination. All Christian denominations are based on essentially the same Scripture. Allowing the reading of the Bible in schools is not favoring one Christian *religion* (read: denomination) over another.

The other thing is, this garbage about having to accommodate every belief system that comes along is just that.... garbage.

Move to a highly Christian nation and expect to hear about Christianity. Don't demand that they change just because it offends your sensibilities.

It's no different than a Christian moving to a non-Christian and demanding that they rearrange their culture and religious system just for them. That wouldn't go over too well. Why should we be expected to for them?
