“Your vote is yours to do with as you will.”

I’m not voting for McCain but I don’t think anyone who does if evil. I’m amazed so many conservatives would vote for him after what he’s done the last 8 years. I don’t remember him sticking to his guns much over the years unless it was at our expense.

Which really means that Obama effectively gets another vote.

God, please deliver us from such ignorace!

Votes for third party candidates do not add to either of the main candidate totals nor do they subtract from either of their totals.

You act as if these voters owe their votes to one party or the other which is absolutely wrong. Many times third party voters would, as this person indicates, would not vote for either of the two main choices if that is all there was and quite frankly, if it were not for Sarah Palin, there are many, many, many voters who would not vote for McCain.

There are no votes 'against' a candidate, only votes for.

No, ignorance would be not understanding the term “effectively.”

With Obama ahead in just about every poll, every vote you take away from McCain puts him further behind, rendering it an “effective” vote for Obama.

Thought that was so clear.

Yeah, because voting for a party that gets 140 votes nationwide accomplishes so much.

No sarcasm tag needed.

But it still doesn’t change the fact that there’s only two teams in this championship. And if we lose this game, the sport will NEVER be the same.

You don't win games by running team members who will score the winning touchdown...for the other team.

Unless McCain [as well as his RINO buddies in the Senate] can be marginalized and and kept in check, McCain with a Democrat-controlled Congress will be like a spoiled, rotten teenager in a candy store...with his parents' credit card.

I’m not avoiding Chuckie out of fear of Obama. I’m avoiding him because he’s nuts.

Your assumption is false.

Any vote not cast for McCain is NOT and effective vote for Obama.

Never has America seen too poorer candidates for the highest office.

No worries; the RINOs will make sure she's benched for the entire game as a token conservative.

“Your assumption is false.

Why, because you say so? Did you miss the part about how Obama is LEADING?

Take off the rose colored glasses and see this race for what it is. It’s Obama vs McCain...the 3rd parties aren’t on the radar.

“You have to think past today.”

I’m still upset with myself that my vote for GWB gave us 8 years of GWB. We’re no better off with President Bush as with Clinton. Babies are still dying by the millions, our country is being invaded by third world socialists, crime is worse in all our cities, the government schools steal my money to indoctrinate the masses, on and on.

The livability of our country is not based on our politicians, it’s proportional to how much we follow God’s word.

When McCain called Falwell and “agent of hate” he was saying that demshateGod is an agent of hate. Why? Because I believe every word in the Bible. I have a problem with that.

This election, this strategy goes from “Just Dumb” to “Really Really Dumb”.

I respect your devotion to this belief. I don't feel the same way though. I think people like you prevent us from staying economically conservative because of the abortion litmus test you insist upon.

However, since that is your most important issue, I can appreciate your devotion to your principles.

I like Chuck Baldwin from what I have read so far and will probably vote for him. Obama is a socialist, but McCain is a liberal. Neither of those two reflect my principles or espouse my beliefs. I disagree with both of them the majority of the time. They have not earned my vote.

While Obama represents a worse choice than McCain, McCain will ensure that the GOP permanently is a liberal party. While America might be able to survive Obama, I don't believe America can survive without a conservative GOP. McCain is part of the problem with the GOP and is not a solution. He will lead the GOP further into the wilderness. Palin will locked up and the key will be thrown away except for brief moments where McCain may desire to appeal to a few conservatives to compromise their beliefs. She will continually be handled in a paternalistic manner, patted on the head and then returned back to her cage after her work is done. No thanks.

More waste your vote with a third-party crap.

Any vote for a third party is a de facto vote for BHO, no matter how you cut it.

Perot gave us the immoral and treasonous Clinton. TR when he ran as a Bull Moose Party candidate gave us the thugocracy and unnecessary involvement in WWI of Woodrow Wilson.

Your statement is either true or false and it doesn’t take much to prove that it is false.

The only votes that are FOR obama are those actually cast for obama.

A non voter or third party voter does not add to Obama’s vote count, nor does it subtract from McCain’s count.

So there is no ‘effective’ addition or subtraction of either candidate at all.

Your premise is false. Just accept it and move on.
