I read this on another message board and got a sad/chuckle.
In a local restaurant my server had on a "Obama 08" tie, again I laughed as he had given away his political preference--just imagine the coincidence.
When the bill came I decided not to tip the server and explained to him that I was exploring the Obama redistribution of wealth concept. He stood there in disbelief while I told him that I was going to redistribute his tip to someone who I deemed more in need--the homeless guy outside. The server angrily stormed from my sight.
I went outside, gave the homeless guy $10 and told him to thank the server inside as I've decided he could use the money more. The homeless guy was grateful.
At the end of my rather unscientific redistribution experiment I realized the homeless guy was grateful for the money he did not earn, but the waiter was pretty angry that I gave away the money he did earn even though the actual recipient deserved money more.
I guess redistribution of wealth is an easier thing to swallow in concept than in practical application.
Post for keeping.
Don’t worry, Obama will not have any Wealth to spread around, the Stock Market downward spiral has a direct connection to Obama being ahead in the Polls... TAKE YOUR WEALTH NOW IN THE STOCK MARKET AND SPEND LIKE THERE IS NO TOMORROW.. because in a way, that is true if Obama is elected President of th US
I went and had my hair cut/colored in late Sept. and then next weekend my daughter a cut and I usually tip 10 for her and 15 on mine and this time I left ZERO tip . . . “Chip” couldn’t keep his mouth shut about Obama . . . I’m sure he noticed the ZERO tip and while I wasn’t brave enough to say I wasn’t tipping because of that I’m sure he “got” the message. Now I’ll have to decide whether to go back or find a new stylist. He lost 25.00 bucks in tips in one week cuz of his BIG MOUTH.
My fellow Americans:
As your future President I want to thank my supporters, for your mindless support of me, despite my complete lack of any legislative achievement, my pastor’s relations with Louis Farrakhan and Libyan dictator Muammar al-Gaddafi, my close association with my communist cousin Raila Odinga, or my blatantly leftist voting record while I present myself as some sort of bi-partisan agent of change.
I also like how my supporters claim my youthful drug use and criminal behavior somehow qualifies me for the Presidency after 8 years of claiming Bush’s youthful drinking disqualifies him. Your hypocrisy is a beacon of hope shining over a sea of political posing.
I would also like to thank the Kennedys for coming out in support of me. There’s a lot of glamour behind the Kennedy name, even though JFK started the Vietnam War, his brother, Robert illegally wiretapped Martin Luther King, Jr. and Teddy killed a female employee with whom he was having an extra-marital affair. And I’m not going anywhere near the cousins, both literally and figuratively. And I’d like to thank Oprah Winfrey for her support. Her love of meaningless empty platitudes will be the force that propels me to the White House.
Americans should vote for me, not because of my lack of experience or achievement, but bec ause I make people feel good. I am the very best teleprompter reader in ever. Voting for me causes some white folk to feel relieved of their imagined, racist guilt. I say things that sound meaningful, but don’t really mean anything because Americans are tired of things having meaning. If things have meaning, then that means you have to think about them. Americans are tired of thinking. It’s time to shut down the brain, and open up the heart. So when you go to vote, remember don’t think, just do. And do it for me.
Thank You.
Barack Hussein Obama, Jr.
Rock On! That was great. While it won’t change the server’s mind when he votes, it made him really angry and that was probably worth your time and effort.
find a new stylist! He’ll take revenge on your hair or your daughter’s, fer sure. Now, vote with your feet and go find another more deserving stylist!

Enough with the talk of socialism. It has run its course. All the true believers are already on board.
This spread the wealth stuff needs to be re-branded as Obamanomics and ridiculed.
Thanks for calling it like it is. We need more of same.
This trend will not stop unless a lot of people stop thinking in terms of what's in it for #1, and start thinking of what's good for the country. I have no faith whatsoever that people will do this on their own. It is only with the imposition of full-bore European socialism, with its high unemployment, long lines for things like medical care, and its accompanying 30% or more reduction in the standard of living, that people *might* take notice. Might, because after all, they've had it in Europe for decades now, and people there seem to be fine with it.
If Obama is elected with an unchecked Democrat Congress, the American Dream (or what we understand it as) is over.
I love it. I will start doing the same. And perhaps have a card printed up to say I am giving your tip to United Way when there is no homeless person near by and actually follow through or some other non partisan charity. I would tell the other poster, look for a non political hairstylist, they can and will get even. I got a late start on my retirement and it is dropping like mad in my IRA’s. I am tempted to cash in and pay off my student loans which are about even with my IRA’s but at 9 percent interest due to Obama and starting over with just cds etc until Obama is out of office or finding a country to go and live in that I can tolerate. I don’t know. I don’t see the market reacting kindly to Obama.
How’s about we donate all those BHO inspired tips to get FR over its goal, then to the USO?
This reminds me of Hillary’s quote: “Many of you are well enough off that ... the tax cuts may have helped you,” Sen. Clinton said. “We’re saying that for America to get back on track, we’re probably going to cut that short and not give it to you. We’re going to take things away from you on behalf of the common good.” - Hillary Clinton - June 28, 2004
