Enough with the talk of socialism. It has run its course. All the true believers are already on board.

This spread the wealth stuff needs to be re-branded as Obamanomics and ridiculed.

All the true believers might already be on board, but Obama and the Socialists are still busy recruiting more mindless sheep for their cause by promising them some more free money. It is estimated that his "tax credit" promises will bring 10% more of the American public aboard, as those not paying a penny of income tax to the treasury approaches 50%.

This trend will not stop unless a lot of people stop thinking in terms of what's in it for #1, and start thinking of what's good for the country. I have no faith whatsoever that people will do this on their own. It is only with the imposition of full-bore European socialism, with its high unemployment, long lines for things like medical care, and its accompanying 30% or more reduction in the standard of living, that people *might* take notice. Might, because after all, they've had it in Europe for decades now, and people there seem to be fine with it.

If Obama is elected with an unchecked Democrat Congress, the American Dream (or what we understand it as) is over.
