Mapes: 'Ha-Ha: Right-Wing Bloggers Don't Matter Any More'

Mary Mapes is in gloat over-drive. Dan Rather's erstwhile producer, the woman behind Memogate, is beside herself with joy at what she sees as the impending death of the conservative blogosphere.
It's her expectation that Barack Obama will win the presidency that has Mapes so hopeful. Annotated excerpts from her HuffPo column, The Monster is Dying [emphasis added]:
* This whole thing is starting to feel a lot like the climactic death scene at the end of a 1950s monster movie. * Palin actually resembles that old monster movie staple -- the beautiful-but-bookish brunette working as a lab assistant for the older scientist whose irresponsible experiments lead to tragedy.
Gee, with one or two emendations, couldn't that be a description of . . . Mapes herself?

If Obama is elected we go on red alert and mobilize for action. What’s this broad talking about?

Mary forgot where we came from and why. Way back when the MSM used to be deceitful, manipulative, and disgusting, but they’re all better now, right? Yeah. I don’t think so.

She lost her job due to her lies, but the AcornObanuts are cheating with impunity and getting away with it, so she feels discriminated against.
Waaaaaahhhhhh!

Schadenfreude in an Obama victory, if it happens, won’t restore her job or credibility. McCain was never popular at FR. He is a lesser of two evils choice.

I see Mapes isn’t the only one in b-movie fantasyland.

Mapes may very well have that smirk wiped off her ugly mug come Nov. 5th.

What a self absorbed twit. Whether McCain/Palin or Obama/Biden win, right wing
forum participants will have plenty to say, and plenty of people seeking truth who
read their comments. Very few movements in history have lost no battles. If we
lose this one, we come back stronger next time. Bring it on Mapes.
BTW: Mapes, you're going to be very unhappy on November the 5th, 2008.
Out of the mist they come, the Final 300...
We were a little over $3,000.00 from this quarter's
FReepathon goal this morning. It would only take
300 of us to donate $10.00 to put us over the top.
Would some of you like to be a part of the Final 300?
Let's end this FReepathon today.
Click the graphic to donate or visit the Final 300 thread.

Hate to tell this jerk; but what goes around comes around.
She’s already lost once because of her lying. Why does she want to try for a second?

..beside herself with joy at what she sees as the impending death of the conservative blogosphere. Impending death? Here's to your ignorance, Mary. It's almost as great as that foot in your mouth.
An Obama Presidency will only breathe new life into Conservatism, in blogs, outside the beltway, and (best of all) within the Republican Party/RNC itself. It was primarily the Party that has doused water on the conservative flame. But we're about to erupt from a glowing faint ember into a f****** 5 alarm fire. And the RNC party hacks will be the first to get burned. They'll jump from the ship *(buying us bouyancy), and we will get under way again. Mark my words.

Sad, sex-deprived harpy.
