McCain-Palin continues to circle the Florida polling wagons

10.24.08: The three days of rallies this week by Barack, Michelle, and Hillary [in 8 cities], along with Obama’s massive statewide barrage of TV and radio ads has actually been a positive factor. It has greatly assisted in getting many local and State Republicans, including our elected officials, off the sidelines – which includes their financial support. We, and others, hammered Governor Crist’s office last week to stop his sidelines consternation regarding the current McCain-Palin Florida win initiative. We are seeing a totally different and fully engaged Charlie this week. Beginning October 1, the Florida GOP PAC’s "Obama, No Gang of 3”(1) full scale ground assault began in key battleground Counties. We currently are seeing a very positive momentum shift for McCain in our internal polling data. Sen. McCain did two Florida rallies on Thursday, Oct 23rd and Gov. Palin is doing two Florida rallies Sunday, Oct. 26. The facts are, there is a large number of Floridian Republicans that are very displeased with McCain’s campaign. But many have recently stated if McCain loses his Presidential bid, it’s not going to be because he did not win Florida. - FlAttorney, SFARI co-chair
