Any feeling for Italian-Americans in Philly and Bishop Martino speaking about abortion. Are Italian-American still a large voting bloc there?

The Bishop is being as aggressive as he can getting the point acorss without naming names.

My guess is Italian-American Dems near Philly will not vote Obama.

Yes but not sure how much effect it will have.

There have been several high profile killings downtown in recent months, black on white, and police killed as well. Race tensions are high, which will lose BO white votes.

Are Italian-American still a large voting bloc there?...many of them have moved across the river to south Jersey, and every one that I know, including a long-time, well-connected Democrat politico from Camden County and his wife, can't wait to get to the polls to vote for McCain - my guess is that their friends and relatives still living in south Philly and environs feel very much the same.......
