McCain volunteer Ashley Todd who lied to police about attack was a Paulian. She was so nutz they kicked her out of their group.
In March, Ms. Todd was asked to leave a grass-roots group of Ron Paul supporters in Brazos County, Texas, group leader Dustan Costine said. He said Ms. Todd posed as a supporter of former Arkansas governor and presidential candidate Mike Huckabee and called the local Republican committee seeking information about its campaign strategies.
"She would call the opposing campaign and pretend she was on their campaign to get information," Mr. Costine said last night. "We had to remove her because of the tactics she displayed. After that we had nothing to do with her."
About a month earlier, he said, Ms. Todd sent an e-mail to the Ron Paul group saying her tires were slashed and that campaign paraphernalia had been stolen from her car because she supported Mr. Paul[...]
On her MySpace profile, where her screen name is "Italian Pajamas," Ms. Todd gives her occupation as "Being a badass." Next to her picture, she references the title of a song by the group Panic at the Disco: "Lying is the most fun a girl can have without taking her cloths (sic) off," but adds to it "but its (sic) better if you do."
Among the books she lists as favorites: "The Scarlet Letter."Maybe she should of volunteered for the Obama campaign?
I have to admit I was a little confused by the backwards “B” - apparently, she didn’t think about it before using a mirror to scratch her face. Oy...aren’t her parents proud?
The only Ron Paul stickers I have ever seen on cars were always accompanied by “9-11 was an inside job”, “ Illuminati”, and “The Truth Is Out There” UFO crap.
I’m assuming Paul is a kook magnet.
And a McCainiac.
Regardless, she did a lot of damage to McCain.
Unfortunately it is not realistic to really vet everyone who volunteer for menial jobs in the final days of a campaign.
Hmmmmmm...
Well that explains everything!
So I guess it is safe to assume that this new news has broken out all over the MSM...(NOT), since they believe in fair and bipartisan media!!
No surprise that this disturbed young woman would be attracted to the campaign of a nutball like Ron Paul. This is why it is so dangerous to allow former Paulestinians to stay in the Republican party. Both they and Paul should have been kicked to the curb long ago. We cannot afford to be associated with such kooks this late in the game.
Don’t believe anyone could be too nuts for the Paulistas.
That’s an understatement if there ever was one.
So the Paul campaign kicked this kook off their team of volunteers a long time ago but she still winds up being accepted on McCain's team.
BTW, Governor Palin thinks Ron Paul is pretty cool. Should she be kicked to the curb as well?
Palin is going to drag McCain across the finish line in November. McCain needs all the support he can get to defeat the socialist Obama.
Well, there’s still time for her to join the Obama team. She’d fit in perfectly.
Regardless of her past support for Ron Paul or the damage that she may have done to the McCain campaign, I’d hope that all of us can come together in praying for her. The girl clearly has mental health issues, and she needs all the help she can get. It is really quite sad when you think about it.
Reminds me of the story of the guy who slips and falls and breaks the bottle in his back pocket and when he gets in the house he applies band-aids and goes to sleep and when he gets up in the morning there are band-aids on the mirror.

I’m laying better than even money MSNBC will spend .000003% as much time covering this revelation as they did the initial hoax (with an anti-McCain slant).
Keith Dolberman and Rachel Madcow are truly two of the worst human beings on the air today.
The girl has mental issues. This is not the fault of any campaign, including Paul’s. Hopefully, she is getting the help she needs.
and they’ll stop calling her a McCain supporter quickfast too.../sarc
