Fashion's seal of approval may not define Obama as average, but it could be invaluable. Designers know that fashion is ultimately about communication, and with the right hemline or well-placed seam, they can influence public perceptions about the Obama brand and develop an army of walking billboards.

Yep. That about sums it up.

.....influence public perceptions......

Yes, they certainly can. If you see someone wearing one of these, you'll know without a doubt this person is your enemy, both philosophical and real.

This is another in-your-face example where the MSM gloats about their powers of political persuasion.

I get so frustrated with the media. How hard would it be to check the financial reports for each campaign and tell us how much each of the four candidates has spent on clothing/image? I would love to know what Barack and Michelle have spent. Of course, their records have probably now been scrubbed to show that they shop at Target.

Obama's $80 t-shirts

The design seems a little "dated" to me.

And another reason why most are in such financial trouble. The are becoming increasingly irrelevant.

Rue 21, a popular clothes store for pre-teen and teen girls features quite a few pro-Bama T shirts.
We were at our local one this weekend and the selections were a little bizarre. The one that got the biggest giggle from us had a doctored pic of That One with a ginormous afro and the slogan “Party like a Barrackstar!”

Not too sure what the point was to that. Pro/Con or just stupid with mild racist overtones?
There were also the “Obama is My Homeboy” ones, too.
Of course there were no Republican/conservative shirts. it was all Obama mixed with “neutral” images, like cute cartoon panda or teddy bear graphics sporting an “I voted” badge.

My daughters, 24 and 22, have already voted for Palin (and McCain). The youth vote isn’t a lock for Nobama, not matter what the MSM wants us to believe.

If mine were old enough, they would be McCain/Palin supporters.
My eldest, however,WILL be old enough to cast her 1st vote as an adult for Palin in 2012! ; )

I remember seeing an article not too long ago about Michelle Obama and they were gushing about the dress she was wearing, which was some trendy designer
