If it did then it wasn't a slug, besides slugs are too lazy to go through all that trouble..and when you slung it, it would have come off your finger like snot out of a dog nose when he sneezes in your ear while sniffing you.

I lived down in southeast Texas for a long time. ...didn't see any slugs there. I did see leeches in SE Texas, though. ...and some kind of green caterpillars that only have a few splines/hairs on their backs (and cause slightly painful stings).
