Sarkosy Has Called Obama's Iran Stance "Utterly Immature"

French President Nicolas Sarkozy is very critical of U.S. presidential candidate Barack Obama's positions on Iran, according to reports that have reached Israel's government.

Sarkozy has made his criticisms only in closed forums in France. But according to a senior Israeli government source, the reports reaching Israel indicate that Sarkozy views the Democratic candidate's stance on Iran as "utterly immature" and comprised of "formulations empty of all content."

Obama visited Paris in July, and the Iranian issue was at the heart of his meeting with Sarkozy. At a joint press conference afterward, Obama urged Iran to accept the West's proposal on its nuclear program, saying that Iran was creating a serious situation that endangered both Israel and the West.

According to the reports reaching Israel, Sarkozy told Obama at that meeting that if the new American president elected in November changed his country's policy toward Iran, that would be "very problematic."

So, if Obama’s elected, France will be more conservative than us. God, that’s a depressing thought...

It’s come to this. Barry, when the French president is a tougher cookie than you are...that’s not good.

Great.

Supposedly Obama was going to ‘make us respected again in the world’ by ceasing to act like the ‘Cowboy’ Bush. I guess he’s going to do so by being a little wuss.

When the French are calling you out for not taking a strong enough stand, well, that’s not good.

Obama would be violated in a million different ways by Putin.

Smart by Sarkozy to do this though. If Obama wins, Sarkozy knows that he will have to force Obama to grow a pair. If McCain wins, then Sarkozy can say ‘hey I called out your opponent in the election.’

If Obama’s actually elected, the Euros will be screeching that he’s too naive. Jimmy Carter all over again, in other words.

Although I think the Euros back in the 70s at least had the sense to favor Ford over Carter in the 76 election (Helmut Schmidt definitely did, anyway).

"When the French are calling you out for not taking a strong enough stand, well, that’s not good"

That needs to be repeated and hopefully broadcast worldwide. When the French basically call you a wimp--that is HUGE! I hope this story goes beyond FR and the net. If we had and honest and REAL press this would be a big story.

Wait. Didn’t ole S’ say he endorsed and wanted BO as our president? I bet they all want him knowing he is going to end the existence of such a fine country as the United States of America. They all can’t stand our power.

Put it out on email to your friends. Email from us to our contacts may be the primary way this information gets spread around. The mainstream news is not going to cover this.

I sent this article out to a dozen or so people I know who then turn around and send it to a dozen people they each know. It seems to work with all those “have a nice day” emails . . let’s try it with something important like this!
