Is it all over??? (Vanity)

Howdy folks!

I haven't visited my FReeper friends for a while but have been watching the election campaign as closely as anyone can on the other side of the earth.

The Australian media is VERY biased against McCain/Palin so my view (I'm hoping...) may be distorted.

It seems to me things are not looking good. In fect, they are looking decidedly bad.

Please tell me I am wrong.

Is there any realistic chance of John McCain winning next Tuesday or is the world doomed to 4 years of Jimmy Carter with a suntan?

Osama Hussein is only 4 ahead in dem pollster Zogby’s poll and 2.8% ahead in IBD’s poll. If McCain is smart, and that is uncertain, he can still win this.

Obama is the big favorite, but at least some polls are showing McCain closing the gap.

He isn't dead, but he needs to catch a couple of breaks this week.

Obama is going to lose the election-period.

Don’t fall for the Obama media spin and fellow travelers in the overseas leftist media .
The Obama media is looking scared.
Read the Drudge report and note the sarcasm .

It’s not over if we all work hard.

So what will you do?

It’s never been close to over. The media folk are implicit in the largest voter suppression operation in human history. If you over sample dems by %20 and get a dem lead of %2-7 that causes issues.

Reports of McCain’s demise have been greatly exaggerated...

Best line I have seen in some time. Having said that It's not over. The answer to that question will be known on November fifth. Maybe not quite then depending on the outcome.

If today was election day, Obama would probably win.

McCain needs one of either Ohio and/or Pennsylvania, and Florida, at least, if he is going to win.

The British papers are all set for a huge obama win. They have been promoting obama from the start with about 10 pro-obama articles to any single pro-mccain article.

Wrong. Go here and read the comment threads. They maticulously tear apart the polls.

http://www.hedgehogreport.com

Basically, they are WAY oversampling Dems this year. Like 5-10%. Some even 13%!

It seems to me things are not looking good. In fect, they are looking decidedly bad.

That is the problem..."looks". Almost all of our media and polls are actively campaigning for Obama while suppressing anything which might appear favorable for McCain. There is no way my country, let alone the world, can get an accurate picture by viewing our media reports.

Obama is not nearly the certainty our biased media and polls portray. I personally believe McCain is slightly ahead and that the Obama campaign is showing signs of desperation, not confidence.

But that is all my opinion. So don't despair. Just sit back and watch as this 3-ring circus draws to a close.

The goal of the media polls this year is to create a bandwagon effect for Obama by showing him with huge leads and suppress republican turn-out. If none of that works and McCain wins, well at least they will have their racism and riot stories for many news cycles.

It is a win-win for them.

Can’t believe Palin wouldn’t be a big hit with the Aussies given how she lives. Granted there are the big cities to deal with, but rural Australia should love her.

Yes, there is a good chance. Our media is corrupt. Making sure vote fraud isn't occurring is the key. The Conservative Base has resigned to the fact that Obama will attack the Constitution.
