It's for the good of the country and for those who're bitter for a reason and armed because they're scared.
As a lifelong Caucasian, I am beginning to think the time has finally come to take the right to vote away from white people, at least until we come to our senses. Seriously, I just don't think we can be trusted to exercise it responsibly anymore. p
I give you Exhibit A: The last eight years. In 2000, Bush-Cheney stole the election, got us attacked, and then got us into two no-exit wars. Four years later, white people reelected them. Is not the repetition of the same behavior over and over again with the expectation of a different outcome the very definition of insanity? (It is, I looked it up.) Exhibit B is any given Sarah Palin rally.

We seriously need a property requirement to be eligible to vote. Eliminating that was one of the most disastrous decisions in our nation’s history.

Man, I hope this guy had his e-mail inbox lined with firebricks before he wrote this.
Maybe a geographic separation is in order. Whites in one large area of the country and the rest somewhere else. Then we poor hapless whites could learn by example the proper way to run a government. We could then emulate the wonderful behavior of the all-wise enclave’s society and everyone would be the better for it. Please teach us by example...we desperately need so much help...have a heart guys...

I agree with the premise that SOME people should not be allowed to vote - people who are in this country illegally, convicted felons and anyone who cannot answer one simple question correctly:
“Is the U.S. Constitution a living document, subject to modification as times and circumstances change?”
If you say “Yes”, you should not be allowed to vote.

Welcome to the kook fringe? He is the kook fringe. This guy’s “body of work” is dedicated to writing about grunge bands and such that no one has ever heard of. And no had ever heard of him, either, until he figured out a way to get his 15-pathetic minutes of fame via this article. I give him a 0 (zero) for political acuity and a 10 for self-promotion. There was never any reason to care what he thinks about anything, and when this is all over, that will still be the case. He has the analytical skills of a gerbil. The fact that a newspaper would publish such drivel says much about that newspaper’s editorial standards and nothing at all about politics and government.
