This part of the timeline is worth noting:

October 2002 – Obama gives speech opposing war with Iraq

June 2003 – Rezko holds lavish fundraiser for Obama at his Illinois mansion, providing key seed money to launch his U.S. Senate campaign

It of interest the Obama’s financial worth:

2000: The Obamas joint gross income was $240,505
2001: $272,759
2002: $259,294
2003: $238,327
2004: $207,647

It is also of interest Obama’s real estate purchases:

July 28, 1993: The Obamas made a $111,000 downpayment on the $277,500 Hyde Park condo.

January 23, 2005: The Obamas made a $330,000 downpayment on the $1.65 million Kenwood townhouse. It was $300,000 below the asking price.

There is no way the Obama’s income levels paid those down payments. Obama’s book $1.9million advance by Random House for 2 non-fictiont books and one children's book did not come until after the $300,000 downpayment was made.

The question was who helped the Obama’s and how much did they receive?

Good list. For the uninformed it would help if you let people know what all the initials stand for. Bookmarked and emailed out.

If a small number of people around FR actually spent their time countering the proposed programs of Obama and how they will harm the economy, as well as other things, we might just get somewhere. All of these things that can not be proved by anything that would begin to pass a credibility test are an embarassment and a total waste of time.

Yeah, I know. :-)

Honestly, I did a search. I entered “Saddam” and didn’t get a hit to any recent story.

FR is a great place, but the search function has always, for me, been a source of frustration.

But maybe it’s only me, and it works for everyone else.

Anyway, I tried. Sorry for the double post. I probably need to stick to comments and leave posting to the more capable.

MB writes...The first thing O will do is pardon Rezko.

And, I think that is very close.

Consider this.

If the Obama/Ayers bunch pardons Rezko, then Mister Rezko becomes an even greater liability. (Assuming that he knows some genuine "dirt").

However, what if, though the grapevine, Rezko was PROMISED a pardon?

(Assuming, of course, he...ummm...survives to see it.)
