Yes, the mainline Presbyterian church is a church in name only. One can be ordained a minister in the denomination without having to believe in the Bible. It’s sad.

There are some Bible-believing Presbyterian denominations, though, so remember that when you hear the MSM talk about Presbyterians. They’re not all the same.

Some of the oldest churches around Charlotte are Presbytarian. One down the road from me dates from the late 1700’s. I am pretty sure that one is Bible believing, and from what I’ve heard, so is Hagan’s. That said, good ad Liddy.

Exactly - the stupid electorate dont realize that certain “Christian Churches” have nothing to do with Christ. These liberal churches promote homosexuality and pervert-ism and unnatural acts, the murdering of innocent children and the promotion of racial hate - yet the media doesnt expose the lies of these churches in relation to scripture.

We have become a compromised society - we allowed the left/communists to infiltrate our schools, churches and govt all under the disguise of diversity. We are in for a very tough future - no matter who wins. Pray, pray and pray - also buy guns and ammo because the left will be emboldened enact the policies of hate beyond what I believe we could never believe.

State Sen. Kay Hagan says she'll go to court to seek a cease-and-desist order against U.S. Sen. Elizabeth Dole's campaign if the "godless" TV spot isn't pulled in the next 24 hours.

What would be the grounds for such a court order? Did Hagan not go to the fundraiser?

I'm no lawyer but it seems to me that Hagan's proper response would be to put up her own damn ad and quit acting like a two year old.

I’ve seen some obnoxious judicial rulings in the last several decades, but I’m curious to know what legal theory Hagan would use to bring suit against Dole and seek a cease-and-desist order? Any judge who might grant one in this situation has to be a judicial “activist” to the extreme.

Either that or Dole is trying to stem a slide. Let’s hope the former. I always get worried when I see last minute “shockers” - like when Allen started attacking Webb on his books in the last week.
