I would like to know how many other retired ministers got the same deal. It sounds like this was in the works in 2006 before the scandal that caused him to retire.

He didn’t pay for it with his money. It was a “gift” from his parishoners and is church property. Probably considered a parsonage and exempt from taxes.

After all, they have to do something to EARN that money, right?!?
