Zeituni Onyango, the aunt so affectionately described in Mr Obama’s best-selling memoir Dreams from My Father, lives in a disabled-access flat on a rundown public housing estate in South Boston.
A second relative believed to be the long-lost “Uncle Omar” described in the book was beaten by armed robbers with a “sawed-off rifle” while working in a corner shop in the Dorchester area of the city. He was later evicted from his one-bedroom flat for failing to pay $2,324.20 (£1,488) arrears, according to the Boston Housing Court.
The US press has repeatedly rehearsed Mr Obama’s extraordinary odyssey, but the other side of the family’s American experience has only been revealed in parts. Just across town from where Mr Obama made history as the first black president of the Harvard Law Review, some of his closest blood relatives have confronted the harshness of immigrant life in America.
This IS Obama spreading the wealth around. If he gets his way, we’ll ALL be living in similar government-run housing.
Pelosi and all of them including obama are planning on staying rich. We will all be poor and there will be NO MIDDLE CLASS WHEN THEY ARE DONE WITH US!
Typical of especially well off socialist and communists, they want their power and money and care for real about others or even their family.
They come to look at their non immediate family as leeches.
Think about it; if this man will let his own relatives live like that; what will he make you live like?

Did she ever contact him and ask for help, or is she 'too proud' to ask for help from an extended family member when it's ever so much easier to get it from the rest of us?
Like his own relatives, he loves us so. Seriously, now the Times (UK) asserts that these aren't his relatives anyway. The family in Africa never heard of them.
Obama has not kept his promise to support the school in his father's village that was named after “The One.”
Obama hasn't sent a dime to brother George, who lives on $1 a month.
But he wants to send 840 BILLION to the United Nations to “end poverty.” He's a cheap plick, but can't wait to spend your money.
Obama Has got a lot of poor relatives he doesn’t care about living in Africa.
