I don’t expect any court to side with Berg, especially at this point, but he’s keeping the issue alive and stirring the pot to generate doubt. I like it!

One might expect that from someone who loves this country. Unfortunately, your foolishly simple notion is misguided due to that false assumption.

Well, I guess you have a point.

It seems they should surely anticipate the ensuing chaos that would follow the election of an ineligible person and make it easier on themselves as well as the country by taking care of it now.

The court is not supposed to anticipate what might happen as a result of their decision. They're supposed to rule on the merits of the case before them at the time. I can can guarantee that the election will proceed on schedule next Tuesday, Berg or no Berg.

You can’t get a passport without presenting a birth cerificate...I would think the requirements for the presidency would be just as important.

And Obama has a passport.

...but there is a move underway to bring some candidates for the Electoral College to belisted as plaintiffs

So your plan is to get Obama's electors to sue to get their candidate removed from eligibility for the election? Good luck on that one. Let me know how it turns out?

It makes perfect sense on Obama's part to do anything he can to hide his place of birth if in fact he was born in Kenya and is therefore constitutionally ineligible to serve as POTUS.

Must be doing a pretty good job of it, too, considering nobody has produced a shred of evidence indicating he was born in Kenya. </sarcasm>

It’d be more rewarding to impeach and remove Obama if he wins.

If Obama is elected and is later found to be Constitutionally ineligible then I don't think impeachment will be necessary. His role as president ends, and there may be questions on the legality of any actions he took while president.

Please, please excuse me for making any assumptions about your original statement. Seemed to me we were pretty much discussing eligibility regarding birthplace/citizenship.

...wouldn't perpetuating such a massive fraud on America be a crime?

Yes, according to Philip Berg in his interview on Michael Savage's radio show last week. But Berg can't deal with that because this is a civil case. It would be up to the Justice Dept. to bring criminal charges against him, which - judging by its passiveness in dealing with other Democratic politicians involved in suspected crimes - isn't likely to happen.

He was born in a civilian hospital in Colon, Republic of Panama.

I am sure McCain was born in a US military hospital. I recall someone posting a map from around that time here on FR claiming that the hospital was located in the Canal Zone, not in Panama.

The DOJ that contributed so much to Obama? We need to get rid of all these asses. If McCain is elected, I hope the whole DOJ is fired!

"It’d be more rewarding to impeach and remove Obama if he wins."

Can't be impeached if he was sworn in fraudulently. But he could be removed by force. Any volunteers?

I think he should ask that the letter “O” be removed from the English alphabet.

OK, if there was any doubt left about Berg’s mental stability....

As I stated before, Berg's goal is to get publicity and educate the electorate before the election, as much as it is to get relief from the judiciary.

He's not as nutty in this as you may think.
