A Warren County magistrate said he'll decide tomorrow whether Ohio Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner has to get proof that Barack Obama was born in the United States.

David M. Neal, a Turtlecreek Township resident who filed suit last week, made an impassioned plea in court Thursday, asking Magistrate Andrew Hasselbach to force Brunner to demand documents from the Federal Elections Commission, the Democratic National Committee, the Ohio Democratic Party and possibly Obama himself to verify that the candidate was born in Hawaii.

"When I enrolled my son in Knothole, I had to show his birth certificate ... This guy is running for president of the United States," said Neal, who runs a political Web site and claims to be part of a nationwide grass-roots movement questioning Obama's qualifications for president.

I wondered earlier why an individual voter had not made this demand legally, but just assumed the GOP had handled it.

Jennifer Brunner, who loves BO as much as Michelle does, will no doubt be content to check out the specious COLB on the Obama website and determine he’s A-OK.

I wonder which democrats would face fraud charges if it were found that Obama weren’t eligible to hold office? I’m assuming that Howard Dean would be right there at the top.

There’s nothing the far left would love more than setting a precedent of allowing a foreign born person to hold office.

Carol Greenberg filed suit in Bowling Green, Ohio and unfortunately lost a similar suit. It’s not over, though.

The legs on this story grow stronger every day.

Hopefully, Fox, Hannity, Rush, Ingram, Savage etc. will give this story the coverage it deserves.

It has been my contention that Obama’s trip to Hawaii included a side trip or plea to governor Lingle (R) of Hawaii to seal his COB. Immediately after his trip, his COB was sealed and made unavailable. The question remains...Why? Is someone trying to usurp the constitution? What’s next. Abolishment of Electoral College, which has long been a contention of DEMS (remember Gore, who won popular vote but lost Electoral College). DEMS would prefer to have large (usually DEM states) elect the president. Hmmm. Just observations.

At this point the question seems a bit moot, not because it dosen’t matter, but because no one with athority will actually do anything before Nov 4. After Nov 4 we may see some serious backlash. For me it’s simple. Sen Obambamamba is hiding something, is it his given name? Barry Sotero/Soretto or whatever? At this point it matters not - there are so many in the tank for this empty suited fraud that, If we’re lucky, maybe someday we’ll find out the truth.

I sure as hell aint holding my breath.

In the absence of proof that BHO was not born in Hawaii the magistrate will most likely rule that Brunner’s discretion in determining BHO’s birth status is sufficient. Even if the magistrate doesn't rule that way Brunner could appeal the decision past the election.
What the Republicans need to do is post a $1,000,000. reward for BHO’s real birth certificate. Then we'd see how principled some of the BHO loyalists in Hawaii are.

After his trip to Hawaii his COB was sealed? Thought 0sama was down there to visit Granny. Appreciate the Drive By Media reporting and invesigating this (not).

I’d imagine most Americans can produce a birth certificate from a drawer, from a county clerk’s office, from I don’t know... an honestly attained citizenship?????

Wonder if this is the same judge that ruled that park benches can be used as an address for voting purposes? Or possibly the same judge that ruled in Brunner’s favor regarding possible voting registration fraud?

IMO “Barack Hussein Obama” is an alias, or assumed name. I’ll bet he has never legally changed his name.

He was probably given his mother’s surname at birth. That’s most likely the name on the BC.

When adopted in Indonesia, he became Barry Soetoro.

It could be that when he decided to search for his “identity”, he *assumed* the name “Barack Hussein Obama”.

This doesn’t sound good. The judge is going to announce this on a Saturday. Minimal impact on the news. Sounds intentional. Announce it today so voters have time to think about it over the weekend. Even if we lose, voters will again hear about obama BC doubts.

Upon this point, to me, it’s moot.

If you have any proof of fraud, then I say go for it.

It boils down to this my FRiend, It’s not so much that us common folk “give up”. It’s that this law suit has little if any legs. Not because it isn’t potentially true, or (I’m sure) damaging, but because this case is at a point where no Judge wants to be accused of any so called “wrongdoing” just before a national election. Belive me sir If it were up to me, I’d let it rip. But it also has the potential of embarasment upon the plaintif, (I certainly don’t think that’s the case). My guess is he is a natural born Cit. but his COLB says Barry Soretto (or whatever), and if thats the case do you think it will make much difference?

I agree. This far, just before the election, that anything would actually hurt him?

No.

The compliant media will not investigate his registration with the Selective Service, or any other questions we may have about thier poster child?

Warren County Ohio (together with Clermont and Butler County) won the 2004 election for George Bush. Bush carried Warren County by 72% to 28%. The 160,000 vote statewide margin was all attributable to the margins in those three adjacent counties. If you can find a Obama sign in Warren County, it will have a noose draped over it.

But, there are procedural tactics in Ohio that will probably moot this case.
