I got the same feeling at the same time. America is ignorant, but not stupid. This undercurrent of WTF about Omessiah is catching fire and moving fast. Americans don’t mind being wrong, but they don’t like not being in on a secret...

Bingo, case closed, game over, sayonara, its all over, toast, fat lady sings, the story of the election, the reason for the ridiculous polls. Its going to be President John McCain and Vice President Sarah Palin.
I feel so much better then I did in 2000 and 2004 and a much, much, much better then I did going in to the 2006 mid-terms.
This election has the best feel about it with the rallies — people are there because they want to be not because they are bused in from surrounding areas/states. Obama sticks more to the cities and hardly ventures into rural American.
This is going to be the election where all of us in Rural America in every state tell the leftist that we are not going to take it anymore. Quit spending our tax dollars foolishly and on worthless programs.
Time to take our Country back with McCain/Palin.
BTW, if you are making calls this weekend into NFL cities, please remind them that Lovie Smith, current coach of the Bears endorsed Obama and that Ditka, the Super Bowl coach from PA endorsed McCain/Palin today and introduced Palin in PA. I have been calling into MN and when they find out that Smith endorsed Obama, my phone lines sizzled. MN doesn’t like the Bears. When I say I am from Norman, OK, they always want to know if I know Adrian Peterson. Great combination.

I’d have to say many of us at FR have been ahead of Rush on this. We’ve been sensing for some time these polls aren’t all that accurate...and they just might close substantially towards election day. I think Barry the Authoritarian Socialist is the energizer that is turning this election around. He is showing his true colors as the campaign ends and everything points that Obama is an Authoritarian and that scares the hell out of even moderate democrats...and it isn’t the race...but the authoritarian aspect that scares people when answering a poll (or choosing not to answer the poll)...people don’t want to be tied any way into going against Obama publicly because they fear retaliation should he win...but the ballot is still secret so they don’t fear that....
This could be one of the funnest upsets in the history of ANY competition on earth...
It’s a historical given that when conservative America is fired up they always win at the polls.Sarah Palin and the justifiable fear of a truly socialist America under Obama,Pelosi and Reid AKA Lenin,Trotsky and Stalin,HAS energized this juggernaut.
Unfortunately,unprecedented MSM mendacity,white guilt,black racism and record levels of Democrat vote fraud may make it a little harder this time.

It doesn’t matter. Obama’s put out the word to riot hard if he doesn’t get what he feels is already his. Start walking now barefoot and toughen up your soles because the road is rocky here on out. And it’s not the people pushing. It’s the radicals pushing the people. What that means is there’s going to be a push back at some point.
Let’s face facts folks. Obama is going to pull back 99% of the military into their barracks, cause half to leave and take the money and buy patronage. He’s taking billions from the ME and buying cars and jewelry for people to defend him to the death. In other words, he’s going to take over.
The right slept and the left took em out through cheating and tactics. It’s not that the right wouldn’t win a fair election. They would. But the left has better gamed the system and has the dedicated people, people who will break election laws like jaywalking. How many election tampering convictions have we seen the last 10 years? Probably -0-.
It’s all about turnout. We need every vote to avert the disaster that’s Obama. That includes FReepers who plan to vote for Baldwin or Barr. We need them, too.
The most important goal here is to stop the Obamanation. That’s more important than “punishing the GOP” for its RINO transgressions.
Please, please, stop the madness! Vote McCain/Palin!
I cannot doubt Rush. When I have doubted him in the past, he proved me wrong. I hope he’s right again.
The call from the woman who worked in the Obama campaign was truly insightful, confirming much of what many of us have suspected and theorized. Key phrase:
“The only way he wins is over a dispirited, disorganized, and demobilized opposition. This is how it’s been for all of his campaigns. What surprises me is that everybody’s fallen for it.”
