The energy at Bowman Field was palpable on Thursday night as Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin told a local crowd that presidential hopeful John McCain is the right man to lead the county.
“There is only one man in this race who has ever really fought for you,” the Republican vice presidential nominee told more than 10,000 people packed into the city ballpark. The crowd cheered so loudly that risers holding the national news media cameras shook.

You cannot muster enthusiasm when your message is defeatist. Reagan was for ‘change’ — but he did it by appealing to the positive nature of the American people.
Not the dark side of Jealousy, Hatred, and Comeuppance. That’s what Obama appeals to.
I’ve never seen such a clearer contrast of darkness and light as that between McCain / Palin and Obama / Biden. It’s incredible.

If Conservatism is good for Alabama, Florida, Georgia, and Texas, it is also good for New York, PA, Michigan, and California.
Heavily taxing businesses only means WE have to pay more for goods and services. The businesses just pass on the cost to us. All this talk about "no taxes" on the middle-class... but Obama is going to make the cost of living go through the roof!
