FBI Probe into ACORN, Voter Registrations [Fictitious, 25% Duplicates, Ohio alone, 200,000. ]

For years, ACORN has been a force in registering mostly younger, lower-income minorities to vote. So far this year, the group has registered 1.3 million new voters.

Slater said that 1,187 packages, each containing a registration worker's daily collection of as many as 18 forms, have been flagged for county election officials as "potentially bogus." He also estimated that about 1 percent of ACORN's nationwide registration applications — some 13,000 forms — could contain fictitious names or addresses. In addition, as many as 25 percent may be duplicates.

To affect an election tally, someone would have to vote in the name of the fictitious registrant, which is a felony.

ACORN officials said that most phony submissions came from canvassers who were trying to get paid without actually finding citizens who wanted to register to vote.

ACORN is bound by laws in most of the 21 states where it's been active to turn in all new registration applications, even suspicious ones, and the group follows that policy everywhere, spokesman Scott Levenson said.

Law-enforcement agencies in 11 states have been investigating former ACORN canvassers — investigations that have involved the FBI in Nevada and New Mexico.

During Wednesday night's final presidential campaign debate, McCain pressed Democratic rival Barack Obama to explain his ties to ACORN, which he said "may be destroying the fabric of democracy."

The Ohio Republican Party is in a court battle with Democratic Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner over potential election fraud. The Republicans won a federal appeals court order demanding that Brunner turn over to county election officials by Friday the names of about 200,000 new registrants whose personal information did not exactly match state drivers' license or Social Security data.

Brunner filed an emergency appeal to the Supreme Court.

Or why is Øbama so desperate that everyone has to take off work and school? The fraud votes are getting caught, and those votes won't be counted, poor Berry will lose fair and square

The main purpose of all these ACORN fraudulent registrations was not to provide actual votes but to GAME the pollsters into weighting more RATS into their voter turnout formulas, SO... Team Geobells could spout stories of “It's over, it's a landslide, don't even bother voting GOP voters, etc. etc.”.

Voting is a holiday like in Europe or the old USSR. The goal is 100% conformity.

This is mere spin by ACORN. It is a corrupt organization with policies in place that cause system fraud throughout their organization. All officers should be held accountable, and put in jail.

I think before an election is called all the states should be scrutinized by the FBI - all ballots checked before counted.

If the process takes us into December before the winner is declared, I would rather have an honestly elected president.

All this “instant” stuff is going to get us into trouble.

If I was estimating, I would estimate much higher that 1%. Why not estimate 80% are erroneous? Acorn is first and foremost fradulent

How many "Registered Republican" early voting ballots got tossed in the wastebasket?? There is absolutely no proof that it has been counted.

I'm betting that republicans are smart enough to have figured out that possibility and will physically go to the polls....in droves.

Disregard my last reply. I noticed you started with the middle of the article instead of the first paragraph.

I’m not sure that’s all of it. The registrations impact on the polls are part of a major piece of it but in places where you don’t have to show ID, anyone can sign and vote for that registered name. Democratic workers, paid illegals or homeless, etc.

I dunno,,,you should go and read a few pages of Prairie Fire (Ayers book) available at LGF.com.

In just a few pages you will see that this is their way of starting their "revolution" to make this a communist Country

Fair warning: Reading this will bring an anger up inside of you llike never before.

ROTFLMAF. You mean the same people who got out of line at the polls and went home when FL was called early for Gore? It's a wonder to me that those "smart" Republicans were able to find their way to the polls to begin with.

I hope my cynicism is wrong, and your faith is not misplaced.

If you want to see fraud, all you would have to do is get hold of his campaign volunteer list and run their names in both the state in which they worked and the state in which they came from.

Former Project Vote worker Anita Moncrief testified in another lawsuit in Pennsylvania that ACORN doesn’t train canvassers at all, that quality control is “minimal to nonexistent,” that “40 percent [valid registrations] was OK,” and that when a canvasser was caught turning in fruadulent registrations by election authorities, ACORN “threw them under the bus” and blamed them for everything.

The problem is that all these local investigations and lawsuits are only being reported in the local news media. The national news media (ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, Washington Post, New York Times, etc.) are carefully ignoring it until after the election.
