Dear Friends: Has my life been better than 8 years ago? You bet your life! The sun still comes up in the morning and we know that we have been protected by a President that recognizes the long term consequences of the War on Terror. Maybe the last 9 months our pocketbooks have been a little less full because of gas prices and the stock market, but our family is still safe and free. If we were struck tomorrow and 3,000 American lives were taken again no money in the world could bring them back. Yet, those families would give their entire life savings and more for their loved ones to be spared. Economics are not everything. Money can't save a life taken by a terrorist or an abortionist. Money cannot buy back freedoms sold to the highest bidder. Money should not be what we are voting about on November 4th. What we are voting about is the right to keep America the home of the free and the brave. An America where we can each follow our dreams and make a better life for ourselves, our family and our Country. We have all been through the good and bad times in our economy. We have seen Countries where Socialism has developed into Communism, only to completely suppress people with ideas, big or small. On November 4th, ask yourself what’s important in your life? Would you “change” your life in the USA for another form of government? Didn't want to sit back and do nothing, so I spent part of the week-end calling voters in several states and urge them to vote for John McCain. If you want, you can do the same thing by going to the following link:

They have the name, telephone number, and city and state of the voters, plus a script you can follow, but I most often just tell them to remember to vote and vote for McCain-Palin. You can pick any state to call and I picked Virginia, Ohio, Pennsylvannia. Some people just hang up, but quite a few are willing to listen, including some undecideds. I'll do some more calling tonight.

Green card holders are not allowed to vote..

and before some of the informed say “get your citizenship”

A green card holder has to have the green card for 5 years before they can become a citizen.

~ 19 months to go before I can do that.
