its clear that McCain shouldnt have had to rely on something so momentous as his vice-presidential pick to fire up a constituency whose support he should have already had, but that is what happened.Why does Byron write something this dumb? Many of us, like the first man referred to in the story, would have trudged down and voted for him, but there was nothing to be fired up about. Now there's Sarah :)
