I missed her call as we were out for dinner. She called @ 6:00 pm cst, left a message. Told me to tremind everyone to vote. Her message stays on my answering machine forever.
Whenever FrogDad and/or I get too boastful, and realize it, we joke that if George or Laura call, take a message. Names have changed over the years, (Ronnie or Nancy, George or Barb - you get the idea!).
Last election cycle, Laura DID call. I about fainted! Of course, it was a robocall, but I couldn’t WAIT to tell him that Laura called ME. He argued, said she’d called him!
Fun stuff. We aren’t having much fun with THIS cycle.
I’m jealous, all I got was stupid Mark Warner (democrat) calling to tell me to vote for The One. Ick
It was immediately deleted.
Nicolas Sarkozy called me earlier this week. At least, I think it was he on the line...
I actually forget what the message was.
He’s calling everyone
Hmm... I had the following call me: Jeb Bush, Adam Putnam (my congressman, and a damn great one!), Charlie Crist (my Governor), Bob Martinez (ex-governor), Toni Blair (she is the county commissioner’s wife), Ron Reagan (my state representative, not the president), and Charlie Crist again. Also, Mel Martinez called me and so did John mcCain.
Cool.
