What about his killing of the economy? What about his friends (all parents know that their children s friends have an influence....and it doesn’t change when you get older).

This is a bit of a stretch. It may have been a Freudian thing, but it doesn’t look like a conscious move to me.

You have to put it into context of prior behavior. The link at my post #3 above shows Obama doing exactly the same thing, and more importantly the reaction from the crowd.

So, give that he has done this at least twice towards Hillary during the primaries, the gesture during 'praise' of McCain looks much less 'Freudian' and much more deliberate to me.
