The Latest From Inside McCain HQ (Battleground states moving "hard" and "fast"for McCain)

I just talked to one of my best Team McCain sources who told me that heading into today all the key battleground polls were moving hard and fast in their direction. The source, hardly a perma-optimist, thinks it will be a long night, but that McCain is going to win. So add this with the new Battleground poll (Obama +1.9 only) and the rising stock market...

In the immortal words of James Carville..."There are more of them then there are of us."

Carville was talking about conservatives and conservative-leaning independents, of course.

The only reason it was so close in 2000 and 2004 was because millions of conservatives sat the race out. The only reason we lost in 1992 and 1996 was because millions of conservatives not only sat out but many of them wasted their votes on Ross Perot (including me in 1992).

When McCain got the nomination, it looked like millions of conservatives were going to sit out again. But then we got the double whammy of a genuine socialist getting the Democrat nomination and Sarah Palin as McCain's running mate.

Now there is no reason for anybody to be sitting out this election as too much is at stake.

So despite the massive GOTV efforts (and vote fraud) of the other side, if we all turn out to vote today, we win. End of story. If we don't win, it will simply come down to the fact that many of us sat this one out as well.

An African-American friend of mine here in Ohio, who he and I always "argue" politics" was going to vote for Obama.

He called me minutes ago to tell me he couldn't do it. I had changed his mind and he couldn't bring himself to vote for Obama.

I voted a bit after 7 AM in rural MI. It was the heaviest turnout I’ve ever seen. I have no idea if that is good for McCain or Obamanation.

like the broken record that I have been, I hope you are right. As much as I despise Rinos, i despise lying POS socialist marxist democrats even more.

Given a choice between a POW and a POS, I'll take the POW.

I keep praying. Voted this morning. Then my wife and I jumped on our bikes and road a brisk 34 mile ride. All the way I was saying my little prayers and singing a few choice Christian hymns to myself.

We were at the McCain HQ yesterday putting in our work hours. We heard the same thing all day.

I spoke to one guy who has a wife in PA working with Catholics for McCain. She said they have great support for McCain. Also said there was a deep rooted anger in many people for what Obama has said about their religion and his threat to take away their guns.

TV obviously was not in the living rooms of Americans during FDR’s time.

So I would change your answer from train to ‘time machine’ or ‘transport beam’ etc.

Biden is really really dumb. And I mean that with all respect.

I agree with the OH/PA analysis, but I question whether VA/OH is still valid. VA is so “top heavy” in the north with DC Beltway libs, immigrants, and other assorted socialists that I think it’s going more the way of MD. We may still pull it out this year, but it’s getting bluer and bluer every day.

“...is your group considered liberal?...”

I would say yes, in general and under normal circumstances. I’m definitely the only conservative and the only one who voted for Bush 4 years ago.

I live right on the NY/PA border. I voted in NY this morning and brought someone else to the polls and there was barely anyone at the polls.

Two PA friends of mine claimed they waited in line for 40 minutes, longer than ever before, and the people in line weren’t what you’d think were Obama voters.

Of course, this is rural Pennsylvania. We can only hope it offsets Philthadelphia and the urban areas of Pittsburgh. Let’s hope they’re well versed in Obama’s coal strategy.

do what we did
move out of a liberal state like moved out of MA
our votes do not count there
move to a red state like VA,NH,NC,FL,NM,AZ

keep those states red and stop giving money to liberals
