I cannot vote for Obama. Therefore, McCain got my vote. I did not vote FOR McCain, I voted AGAINST Obama.

Fair enough. Personally, I can't stand Hillary, and the damage done by the whole Clinton era is still unraveling (9/11 & Bin Laden, the CRA and our current economic woes, etc.). However, this is America and everyone's entitled to their views, and I, like other FReepers, salute you for shaking off party line nonsense and voting for your country instead. One thing that I hope this PUMA episode will instill for the 2010 elections and beyond is a return to just honest disagreement between folks rather than the insanity we've seen in this election.

I, too, was not voting for McCain, either. I was 1) voting against Obama, 2)voting for Sarah Palin,.........................................3) voting for McCain (I guess, if I really have to).

I hope I never live to see again homeless thugs, drunks, and tweakers, dragged out of the gutter, driven to the polls to register and vote-—on the same day! There is a reason folks are supposed to have an ADDRESS to vote!

Another shocker: Black Panthers (another group endorsing Obama), one wielding a billy club, blocking the doors to a polling place. I would have NEVER believed I'd see it! One is forced to wonder, if Obama should win, will he pull a Hitler and get rid of his thugs.
