"The reservations some voters have about Palin intensified over time in the Washington Post-ABC News poll. In the survey released Monday night, 44 percent of likely voters said McCain's choice of Palin as his running mate makes them less apt to vote for the GOP ticket. That is more than double the number who said they were drawn to McCain because of Palin, and an increase from a month ago. More than half of all independents tilt away from McCain because of Palin."I don't believe the above numbers. It's the reverse.
For the umpteenth time, Romney has done nothing to ruin Palin's rep. They are the two brightest stars in the Republican party and we need to utilize both of them.

No, it’s true. Unfortunately, I do know people who said they would not vote for McCain BECAUSE of Palin. And these folks voted the GOP ticket for the last twenty years.

The polls about Palin are B.S. as far as that goes. She got a bad rap from the press, ala Dan Quayle. Americans have pr oven tonight they are really, really stupid. As much as I love Sarah Palin, she is history as a presidential candidate because of McCain. Unless they somehow pull of a miracle that is.
