Joe Lieberman, Step into the light....
self | 11-5-08 | Republican Extremist aka JLB

OK Joe, you now have the biggest threat to our nation (and to Israel) in our history as President, and you are caucusing with the same rat bastards that are about to strip you from all of your committee assignments.

Why don't you take a step towards the light, and make the "I" afer your name an "R", and caucus with us?

One step further away from a fillibuster-proof Senate would send a message to the Messiah.

Sean Hannity, I know you read this, so why don't you get on this right away, and get Joe to do the right thing?

He won’t do it, plus he probably will vote for some of the social stuff.

One would think he would do so. He owes nothing to the Dems.

With all due respect, we have enough RINOs in the senate.

Lieberman will still vote his conscience without being an official republican.

If Arlen Specter can be a Republican, Joe Lieberman certainly can too.

That $10 I donated to him in 2006 looks like a better investment every day....

What's Joe got to lose? All his democratic friends stabbed him in the back.

Uh, no thanks. The Republican Party has suffered enough from RINOs without adding another one, don’t you think?

Let’s go in the other direction. Let’s get the party back on the path Ronald Reagan set it upon before the centrists steered it into the rocks.

He can’t—he’d never win re-election again if he became a Republican.

After listening to him on Beck’s show this AM, I think he will caucus with the Republicans, especially it if means avoiding a filibuster proof majority.

They are going to treat joe like a pariah, yet still expect him to caucus with them.

I never understood why he still did after they screwed him in the primary.

I sense he may retire after this term, so for the remainder I wish he’d caucus with the minority and screw the dems back.

And if you do come over remember you're a lib.. so shut the hell up. Do what you're told and enjoy a cordial respect. No need to gush with gratitude it's fair reward for your support of the War.

I was at local Republican offices doing some phone volunteering when Joe showed up to speak to us folks.(To me,he always sounds like Cap’n Crunch when he speaks).I shook hands with him. When I first offered my hand to him ,he gave me a look like I asked him to scrub a lizard. I just sayin’.

It's more likely a RINO or three will go to the Dems. I'd say maybe one in the Senate, several in the House. Some politicians with no or weak principals just want to be on the winning side. Plus it's easier to brink home the pork if one is in the majority.

Lieberman has balls on defense. Our social issues are going nowhere for a while with Obama, Reid and Pelosi, so I’ll take a hawk if I can get one.

How much help did Liberman really give us with the Jewish vote?

Despite his more liberal social positions, this actually makes sense in the bigger picture sense—esp if the Obama administration moves to frosten relations with Israel and Eastern European nations in favor of “restoring our reputation” with the rest of the world... He’s still got four years before he would stand for re-election, and as popular as he is (beating Lamont and the no name pubbie in the last election), I’d say he’d be able to get re-elected. We need all the help we can get, esp since there’s virtually no conservative democrats left in the upper chamber that we can pick off on key votes..

Oh come on! I don't care if Liberman has an I behind his name, once a DemocRAT ALWAYS A DEMOCRAT! No guarantee he will vote with us.

He will surely notice that it didn't take the Pali's long to lob rockets at Israel. We haven't even counted all the votes and they are shooting at Israel already. I guess they figure their buddy, Obama, won't do a thing.

Republicans have far too many RINOs.

Still, Lieberman’s vote to defend American and Israel would be quite useful at a time like this.

Also, Lieberman’s stood the test of time. We know the media can’t roll him.
