Lets hope that the ‘fairness doctrine’ will be protected by that pesky first amendment. Its Its ironic that O supports this doctrine when the media was clearly in his corner throughout the entire election. I’m from NY and I have cancelled the New York Times since it went way overboard its support for Karl Marx Obama. I didnt complain, I just stopped reading. If you dont like what you see or hear on the radio or tv, CHANGE THE CHANNEL. ONe of the great things about our country is the ability to express our opinion and debate issues. As S. Hannity always says “...this is the year that media died....”.

They will find other ways around it through Congress. The FCC still issues licenses. They can create new classes of licenses and make the cost of a license so expensive for stations that have a talk format - excluding NPR naturally - a station would have to change their format to stay in business
