Question—Do Jews in America care about Israel?
With this voting I would assume they don’t.
If they do they are voting against their own self-interest.
To: Nachum
I’m beginning to think that if American Jews don’t even support Israel through their voting...then why the hell do I (a Catholic) give a rats ass about it?

QuestionDo Jews in America care about Israel? Many do not. Most American Jews are not religious. With a long history of support for liberal politics many have internalized the liberal line: moral equivelence between Israel and Palesting, the original sin of Israel's creation, the need for "land for peace" and other myths of the left. I guess realistically many have been here for 4 or more generations, like many of the rest of us, and their primary allegiance is not to a country they never lived in, but to their vision for the USA>

Been pondering the same rational myself, if Israel is not an issue that brings people to the table, then why are we putting our electoral chances on the line election after election?
At the end of the day though, Israel is an ally of the US, these numbers are discouraging, but you have to support your friends.

IMHO, it seems that there is a strange aura and allure of Marxism for Jews. The Kibbutz experiment in Israel is a perfect example of that allure. I truly do not understand. It is a romance and mystification that defies logic, especially after Marxism fails again and again.
To: autumnraine
Isreal will have to hit Iran by themselves now. They can't wait four years for Conservative tidal wave that will sweep the Obamanation back into the street.
No way Obambi' going to back an Isreal attack on Iran, or lift one finger to make sure Iran doesn't get a nuke.
Hell, Russia probably dropped off a few nukes to their Iranian buds this morning. Who's gonna tell em not to?
