Reagan in 1980 was at only a -13 year disadvantage with Carter, whereas GHWB was at -22 years against Clinton in 1992, and McCain was at a whopping -25 years against Obama in 2008.

Even setting aside all the other demographic problems facing the American experiment, I think that it's ludicrous to hope that GHWB at -22, Dole at -23, and McCain at -25 ever stood a snowball's chance in Hades vis-a-vis what passes for modern American culture and its obsession with sexual virility.
