Usually I’d agree with Mr. Delay, but not this time. He has never met Chicago thugs like Obama and Emmanuel. They will set the agenda, not Pelosi nor Reid. THEY have the Justice Department at their command. THEY have the IRS at their command. THEY will make BJ Klintoon look like an amateur..............

Paul Begala is such a bleeding wart .... Delay is formally right about Pelosi's having the constitutional power to do what she wants, but in a head-to-head confrontation between her and "Chicago Rules" Obama, I wouldn't bet against the guy with the brass knucks in his pocket. The knucks may just be a gun instead.
That said, Her Overlordship's eyes do glow in the dark with dreams of power. She can do an awful lot of damage to America from her Castro fiefdom.

It would be hard for her to do anything with broken knee caps.

i see in the future some serious head butting between obama and pelosi. she is drunk with power and thinks obama will bend to her will, but he may just fight her to put her in her place (i hope) would love to see her slapped down a couple of times:)

Would McCain have been more successful in resisting his ‘good friends’ Reid & Pelosi? The silver lining is we are free to attack McCain again and again when he sticks the knife in the back of his ‘not so good friends’, all Conservatives.

Probably has his bipartisan kneepads out already for Obama. McCain was always the lesser of two evils in this election. Sadly, there isn't viable conservative legislative leadership. The GOP in the House will be running scared and to the left immediately in the hopes of retaining their seats in '10. Wrong lesson but a herd mentality.

Delay should crawl back into his little hole with his tail between his legs. He is useless.

I agree. Tom Delay is not helping, he is hurting. HE needs to crawl back under the rock. My hope is that Obama and the democrats overreach, leading to an uprising similar to that led by Gingrich in 1994. I say, go ahead, Obama, make our day...

She will be able to do anything she wants. They are going to run circles around Obama. House lawmakers will double the minimum wage in six months," DeLay predicted. I will be absolutely shocked if this prediction comes true. RATS are idiots about the economy but I dont think the stupidity will go quite this far.

He is desperately trying to make himself relevant. To your point astounded "My hope is that Obama and the democrats overreach"...oh they will. They can't help themselves. These idiots think they have a mandate. My hope is the most voters would start chanting "term limits". But since half of the electorate are morons it is hopeless.

Stalin purged his ranks over and over again..
The fight is on for power..
The fight between Marxists, Stalinists, Leninists, Maoists, and Clintonistas in Washington D.C. will be entertaining.. and if played right playing one agianst another (by any right wing whatevers that remain) quite useful too..

You are correct.
The GOP will need to take the fight to the Dems, like they did to us.
American politics is about keeping those in power over us accountable—that’s not divisive, that’s liberty.
Now, the Zero has to actually govern. Not pontificate.
He’s woefully above his paygrade. And he has been for some time.
Now it will become evident to everyone.
